This a beast of a unit.
First thing, I was really surprised at the size of this unit - it's a total beast. The silhouette is a medium sized animal head which looks like it should work a treat to add another level of deterrence to the cats who wont seem to stop crapping in our garden! It has a sensitivity dial and a mode dial, allowing some good fine tuning. We're aiming for to deter cats so I went with mode 3, and because their favourite patch of grasss right in front of our kitchen window is only a few metres from the location of the repeller I've got it set to the lowest sensitivity at the moment will report back later if I need to ramp it up a bit. It has two options for fitting, a lightweight 1" dia aluminium and plastic post along with a keyhole slot for a screw fixing. I've actually used both of these, the post into the ground against a wooden tree support and then a wood screw into the post - this is mainly because I live alongside a busy pavement and I don't want to make i t easy for any sticky little fingers to take it so I really appreciate the option to have it screwed into place. It seems to have done the job well over the last few days and we're actually looking forward to being able to mow the lawn without having to shift a load of steaming feline deposits first.

Not expected dead birds
We wanted to deter foxes and cats at night from damaging our veg beds and bought this. We tried with birds mode for trial in daytime. The description says users will not have any dead animals as this is supposed to act like a repellent, but we have got 2 dead birds on first day of action. So please avoid using this item to repel birds, you may end up killing/burying them.Later tried foxes and cats mode. Not sure if fox came, but sure cats were roaming around it in 4-5ft distance, while we kept the equipment in cats mode with intensity 4.

Analogue stuck
Brought this product to stop cats from fouling in my garden however the analogue to change the settings won't turn past the first selection 🙄 didn't help me with my issue at all just looks like the cats are having a party when the light flashes on and off

Works very well, but having to re-charge by mains every 5 days and then broke after 9 months
Is that normal, even in Winter when little sunlight? It does the job when it's charged, but I'm plugging it in nearly as regularly as my phoneIt did the trick in stopping whatever was digging holes under my fence, but after a few monthm you'll find the batteries stop working, then when you try to take the rear cover off to replace the batteries, the little screws have corroded and you can't get it off. Probably need to budget to buy a new one every 9-12 months

Not fit for purpose
I tried all methods I could and turned to this having read reviews. V disappointed . Noise is either too low so nothing (human or animal hears it ) or too loud so only humans hear it in the garden (high pitched note) and it did nothing to deter foxes who treated it like some sort of Attraction not repelling device. Disappointed to spend so much for something that clearly doesn't work

Solar charging, I don't think so!
Defiantly works and keeps the cats away from the gravel edging around my front door paving but the solar charging just doesn't if you have to charge via USB every week or so then don't pay the extra for the solar option!

Foxes don’t come as much but hasn’t stopped them coming completely
Better than some others and used it for a couple of weeks now. I still get foxes come right up to the unit but the frequency is a lot less so overall I’d say they are making this better

Worked for 3 months
I've waited a while to review as I wanted to see how long this lasted, it worked fine for about 3 months, but started playing up (not as effective with noise and flashes) and worked like that for another month or so. Then stopped working, I've had it for about 6 months and thought I'd try and get it going again, I've looked at the batteries and recharged them, but I can see moisture in the PIR lense, so guess it's had water damage inside??? Any way it doesn't work any more, waste of money for a few months work, but did work at first, so I'm back to digging car mess out the veggie patch again and trying the old fashioned methods
