Auto & marine fire extinguisher.

I hope I will never use it.
One day I we were going out as a family and my daughter who is always late said "there's smoke coming out of the back." of my VW Bus. I told her there is always smoke, but she said this was different. When I went and looked the engine was on fire. I had a fire extinguisher in the car. I put it out. Damage was minimal. (Well, it did take over $1000 to fix it all). But this could have been a disaster. My Bus was in a garage under a building next to many cars with a full tank of gas. The bus and the building would have been destroyed. Considering a $40 fire extinguisher prevented 100 times as much damage, I would consider it a safe bet to have one of these. Especially if you have an old car, RV, travel in the desert, use your car for camping, or just want to be prepared. I hope I never use this, but I'll feel safer having it handy.

Do Not Buy!
extinguisher arrived intact. but it’s Half way through it’s life span! purchased in June 2019. manufacture date of 2013! they last 12 years. i purchased a different brand last week as well and it was made in 2019! and it cost $15! same extinguisher! DO NOT BUY!!!!

Professional quality extinguisher. Top notch.
Top of the line fire extinguisher in quality and value.This extinguisher is every bit as good as the professional models that are used in big rig trucks which I drive all over the country.The bracket is strong and well made, mounting is easy because this is made for car use, and I drive a sub compact.I've seen too many cars burn up on the road to say that every car should have one.

Perfect around airplanes
Haven't used it yet and hope I never will. But from all appearances this is a good fire extinguisher. NOTE: If you need to contend with fires around airplanes and other metal equipment involving aluminum, this is the correct choice, since other extinguishers may cause serious corrosion

A good fire extinguisher that is the right size for carrying in a vehicle or any other transportation vehicle. I've had to call a lot of people and do a lot of research to make sure that heat wouldn't become a hazard.I live in TX and during the hot sunny days, parked in a parking lot for hours made me anxious about buying it.but after confirming with others that most extinguishers are rated for fire and have a pressure relief valve whenever encountering too much pressure... I felt pretty safe to carry it in my vehicle. It is strapped securely with a Bartact fire extinguisher strap and combined with the wall-mount bracket... it becomes pretty sturdy, but still quick to release whenever needed.Please clarify in description or product details for temperature rating and if this extinguisher is rated to leave in a parked vehicle during very hot days.

Just the right size
I hope we never need to use this! This is t replace our out of code fire extinguisher in our boat for safety compliance. Price is very good.
