Bought this collar because of the low price and good reviews upon purchase, but came to realize it is mostly a waste of money. It very rarely goes off when my dog barks, but goes off every time he scratches at it. The first couple of times the collar goes off it only beeps and does not vibrate, so the dog has no idea what this is even correcting since it is inconsistent in the correction method. This collar simply does not work.

Had it about 1 week now, using it on a miniature Dachshund that barks non stop. At this time I am very pleased! Usually she barks at every squirrel, bird, dog and especially neighbors. Now, she might bark once and then just run around and wag her tail, no more excessive barking. The collar is adjustable so I like it. *note, I have 3 other puppies that like to pull each other's collars off. I sprayed this collar heavily with green apple spray and let it dry before putting it on my pup. It worked great.

I believe it will be effective for most dogs but unfortunately the vibrate only function does not work for my terrier mix who is pretty much a psycho so I just eliminated one star for this reason.

I ordered this for my 5# ChiPomTerrier mix. Worked great until it needed charging. Does not come with a charger cable, bought one and it would not hold a charge. Had cut collar (it was too long) so don't feel right about returning.

I love the collar at first. The 1st two days my pup had it on, it worked really good. Now, for some reason, it works sometimes and sometimes it just beeps, no vibration at all. I have tried charging it, doesn't seem to matter. It worked really good in the beginning.

This thing beeps when my dog is quiet and does not beep when she barks. My poor dog is so confused as to why she has something around her neck that occasionally beeps while she's sleeping! It does not vibrate either. The instructions make it sound great- how it will detect when your dog barks- determine the length in between barks, etc. and adjust to beep/vibrate accordingly... Uh, no.. it does not.

I got this for my little dog my husband and I call "Bob Barker," because he barks at everything, all day. I had one with my other little yapper who passed away, and the battery would die and the remote had to be right near me for me to correct him--and me be by him as well. This one stays charged for about 2 weeks and requires no remote. The sensor goes across my dog's whole neck--not just a couple of points that need to be in a the perfect spot--and goes off whenever he starts to bark. It has made a HUGE difference. The neighbors are having a garage sale and he's been out there for awhile and I haven't heard him once. The old Bob would have embarrassed me to no end barking at everyone coming into their yard. I have another dog who Bob gets going, and he's been barking more lately, so I'm going on here to order another one. I would highly recommend this collar speaking as someone who has tried a few that didn't work as well.

I have 4 little dogs. 5,8,10,12 pounds... they can get into barking or howling, I tried the shock collars and they work but they have become old and worn out so I got the nice Humane collars with the hope they would put an end to the barking.... so far they are useless.... once one starts barking the others join in and they override the noise and vibration from the collars..... I think the collars take too long to get into the HIGHER MODE.... So far I am only rating with One Star... my hope is things will get better... I had them for 5 days..... My friend suggested in make a video of the dogs going off while at the same time hearing the sounds from the collars....maybe I'll do that.... and perhaps if you just have one or two dogs the collars will work better.....
