It's been great to wear.
This summer has been long and hot! If you fish or boat a lot, you know how hot a typical life preserver can be. This thing is cool and comfortable.It fit's well, with plenty of adjustment. The only negative I have is that there is no tag or information in it that gives any information on a replacement CO2 kit.

Inflatable Life Vest
Well appointed with reflector panels, auto inflate and heavy duty metal interlocking buckle for tethered used as with hiking on a sail boat. CE approved for intended use meaning European Conformity, not USCG App'd. In US waters this vest is suitable for use only if the wearer has a USCG app'd life jacket on board the vessel committed to the wearer's use. Vest has to be deflated to disengage metal interlocking buckle my experience. The CE designation for lifejackets has not been approved as a substitute for USCG approved personal flotation.

everything on this is fine except the buckle. change to a real buckle and it would be five stars.

Horrible buckle!
This product is not USCG approved. The buckle is way too cumbersome for practical use. Yes, you should put a life vest on when you board a boat. But the majority of people don't and to get these on in an emergency would be difficult.

Worked as advertised! Jackets were on floor of boat ...
Worked as advertised! Jackets were on floor of boat at the dock. Boat was accidently tipped, some water entered the boat and contacted the jackets on the floor. Both jackets expanded!

Low profile life vest
Purchased this for my husband who goes out on the boat alone. He said it is very comfortable and unobtrusive. He would not wear a big life jacket because it hindered his fishing. He does not have this problem with this one. I am glad I purchased it.

Cumbersome to put on and take off
VERY Inconvenient to take on and off. There is no buckle or clasp and you basically have to put it on over your head. It is comfortable once you get it on

Not for big people.
A bit small for bigger (well, to be honest, fatter) people. Returned with no issues; wished I could have made it work.
