I’ve always wanted a treadmill but the size/weight of the big units always put me off. And the less expensive foldable units I had seen, which still weight a couple of hundred pounds just didn’t feel good on the feet. Not this unit, it has a solid but cushioned platform which I love, i can roll it it away and under the couch for parties, the built in step counter, distance, etc is almost 100% matching what Apple Watch tells me, and in general seems to be the perfect treadmill. I generally run it at 3.5 and it is quiet too.I didn’t need a portable treadmill but still this one was best find for me.PROs:Great cushioning.Doesn’t feel flimsy or a compromise.Easy to set up, logical controls and no gimmick extras, easy to flatten out only few inches tall, easy to roll away.CONs:Speakers not as good as the iPad’s.Power button on floor and end of treadmill, not most easily accessible.It provides big static-like shock every time you touch the arm joints.You lose progress if you walk away even for a minute, it is too quick to enter pause.It also shows heart rate if you use a non-coding heart monitor like Polar T31 which is great if you don’t wear something else that already does.Two additional note:The shocks have gotten worse on mine, almost anywhere arm will shock. Electrician checked house wiring and it was OK. If it weren't for the stinking virus I would check out warranty.Using the wheels, it rolls head-first not side-ways under couch etc. So if it is next to a long couch you can't slide it under sideways but have to slide it in from end of couch. Make sure your setup is compatible with that.

New exercise program with Covid-19. Gym closed. State only allows essential travel for next two weeks. Bought it to walk on. Nice controls, small and compact. Fits in my home office. Seems to be well made. Had my first walk on it at 3.5 miles per hour for 2.5 miles. Going to free weights to keep muscle tone. Be safe everyone.

This M1 treadmill is exactly what I’ve been looking for! Set up took no time at all, just remove the packaging, unfold, plug in and go!  I’m impressed with how quiet it is and how smooth it runs. The information shown on the display is perfect for my needs without becoming overwhelming.  Seeing my time, # of steps, distance, speed and calories burned allows me to keep track of my progress. Having a treadmill in my home has motivated me to walk every day, any time of the day that works for me. I’ve even stored it under the bed in the guest room where it fit perfectly. I can easily move it from room to room without assistance.  This will definitely remain part of my daily routine.  I wish I had purchased one sooner.

I was pleasantly surprised by how little assembly was required to get up and running. Once set up, the treadmill runs very smooth and is easy to use with an intuitive interface. The folding action is a snap and I’m impressed just how small the profile is once collapsed. Looking forward to put more hours on it and I’ll update this review in about 30 days.

Years ago I owned a commercial-grade Landice treadmill that my family used regularly for 14 years. Each year, I called in a technician for a checkup and cleaning -- and it was always given a clean bill of health. I only gave it up because moving left me with no other option. So when I recently began looking for a portable treadmill, I came upon the Landice M1. The search was over. High-quality, built to last. Quiet and attractive. That was Landice back then and Landice today. But this time, LOL, I can roll it with me.
