This hat is double layered and so has less ventilation. I have skin cancer and need to wear hats even in cool weather, and this works great. Can be folded to fit in purse or pocket indoors. Nice wired brim - can be adjusted. But it came without a chin strap and blows off in windy weather.

I am pleasantly surprised with this hat purchase. I bought the dark blue(looks like denim) with the flip side being the maroon colored flowers. The rim is wide and long. Covers the face very well. I was really looking for that "breakfast at Tiffany's" look and I got it with this hat!! I love the hats from business & pleasure hat company, however They are very expensive and always sold out. When I seen this hat on Amazon and the price was very inexpensive. I thought I would give it a try. IT'S PERFECT!!The way they package this hat for delivery, also plays a big part, on how its going to look when you open it. It was really nice and not all wrinkled. It was easy to open and adjust the hat, so it looked nice and didn't loose its structure. I'm going to order another one.

I take this hat off the minute I’m in the car or shade. The double layers in it are so hot to wear, keeping your body heat over your head, and the hat not breathing. I find the thickness of it in the summer, very uncomfortable, but it keeps the sun out. I ordered a large to have extra coverage. You can bend the hat down to avoid sun on your face. The hat is ugly, but it does the job of keeping the sun out. I just wish the thing wasn’t so heavy as far as material, and that it breathes, so you weren’t dying to get out of this hat.

Nice quality, protects neck and part of shoulders, but it is just to big for my head. I bought it based on the quality and reviews plus the fact that it has UV sun protection built in. I like that it is reversible and that it is well made with a cord to secure it on either side when its windy. I just wish it was for a smaller head.

Hat offers a lot of sun protection/ bright beautiful yellow color. But the hat came without the string that holds it on my head. So I can't wear it because that is how I was going to keep it from flying off my head on my cruise in 2 weeks. Now what?

The media could not be loaded.  This hat has metal clips inside that get stuck in your hair and metal used on draw string can rub and break off your hair.

These are bucket-y. Not so sure they are cute. They give the best face protection of anything I can find ( and afford). Cotton canvas-- not ventilated, and, yes, can be hot in summer. I wear because functional and it protects the face. Third time buying. Have to hand wash. They aren't perfect but they do the job .

My head (measured around tempel area) is 22.5 inches and the hat is even a little loose. I would prefer it a bit tighter but maybe after a wash it will shrink. The brim covers your face better than any hat i have ever seen. Great to protect your skin from sun damage. It can folded but i was able to reshape the wire brim easily. I will also steam or iron the hat then take a picture for this review.

I love this hat, nice super adjustable brim, will def keep the sun out of my face (I am a redhead so this is a must for me as even my lips burn, sigh), good quality material, super neat that it reverses, good fit, comes with a tie so if you wish to tighten it, you can. Pretty nifty, really. The only bad thing, and hence the 4 stars, is that it smells. I have never, ever complained about the smell of something I've purchased on-line before, but this smell is fairly strong. I will have to wash it before I use it for sure. Thank good ness it is a hand-washable item. Hoping the hand wash rids the smell....don't want people thinking it's me on my vacay ;-)

Reversible and covers most of face depending how you wear it. Do not wash in washing machine since it ruins the shape! By hand only and let dry. Great for everyday and easy to pack in suitcase
