Easy to install. Saved me time and money.
I had one control wire with degraded performance that couldn’t send enough voltage to activate its valve. Since there wasn’t a wire break it was too difficult to determine where the problem was with the wire without digging up the whole side of my house. This product was a perfect solution. Easy to install. Works great. No bulky modules to fit in the valve box and/or the control box. And less expensive than other Zone Doubler or Add-A-Zone solutions.

Fixed zone with Broken wire
This product saved me alot of time and money. I had a zone in my backyard that had a 7 wire sprinkler cable running to it with all wires used (6 zones, 1 common) the wire for it was only receiving 19 volts, which was not enough to trigger the solenoid. Somewhere from the controller to the box, throughout the lawn the wire has become nicked or corroded over time and now losing voltage causing the zone to work. Estimate to run new wire was $500 at least. this product worked great. I was able to go to another box where I had two values, and connect both of those zones using the WireSprout to a single wire. I then used the other wire for the zone in the backyard which was still getting 25 volts to the backyard box. this way i was able to run the 3 zones on two wires, and did not have to run any additional wires and did not have to tear up my lawn and bury a new wire. This took 20 min at max to install and complete. I do recommend getting waterproof connectors to protect as well. All in all, it worked and all zones working as expected. Really happen thus far, and hope it continues to work going forward.

Major cost and time saver!
The inventor of this little device is a genius! Super easy to use, quick to install, and best of all: saves you from having to install a new wire, which often involves trenching or burying a new wire over some significant distance. I was able to fix a zone that was over 200’ from the clock (controller) without digging anything. Didn’t need to find the severed wire, just “sprouted” off another zone using the existing intact wire. I’d give 6 stars if that was an option!

Easy to Install
I wanted to add another zone to water my trees. Running wires from sprinkler controller would be possible, but a lot of work. The Wiresprout was immensely easier than running wires. Only minutes needed to wire once sprinkler valves set up. Instructions very logical and easy. Worked perfectly first time. Would definitely do this again. One thing you may not know beforehand is they recommend enclosing the sprinkler-end sensor in waterproof wire nut used for sprinkler. This helps protect the sensor from water intrusion.

Very good for the money so far
I installed it on 11/16/2019. So far it works like a champ. The only issue on the install is that it would have been nice to have the station wires color coded so that when you are connecting the valves you know for sure which wire to connect to which valve. Fortunately, it was a 50/50 shot and I was lucky the first time. I would have given it a 5 if the wiring didn't have that issue. Though I'm also concerned about the longevity based on other reviews, since it's only been a little over a week. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Irrigation wiring quick fix that works
Recently I found that one of the irrigation zones for my yard wasn't working. After troubleshooting, I determined the issue was the main wire (not the common wire) to the valve from the controller. Unfortunately for me, the wire bundle that was run to the valve box area lacked any spare wires for me to make a simple swap. Since the wiring in our yard is 20+ years old, I'm sure finding it underground would be a very large pain and extremely hard work, not to mention disruptive to the yard. To avoid trial and error, or worse digging up the entire wire by starting at one known endpoint, I searched for a way to locate underground irrigation wiring that had broken and found several tools (very, very, expensive tools), but, also came across a few options to run one valve by piggybacking on another, working, valve main wire. The first piggyback solution was expensive but I was considering it since the alternative would be many man-hours of digging up the yard and repairing the yard afterward and time is money. Then I found this specific option. At less than half the cost of the other option and their satisfaction guarantee, I decided to take the chance. Yes, there are some negative reviews on this item not working as advertised. That was not the case for me. After installation ... I an puzzled how this product couldn't work. Their instructions are clear and concise, however, I decided to follow the competitors' tip of not having the "donor" valve wire adjacent to the dead zone on the controller to allow for any potential electronic timing needed by the "circuit" to switch over. All in all, the entire fix took me 10 minutes. I was very happy when the non-functional valve came to life, and even happier when I did a quick program run with multiple zones to confirm that the "donor" zone worked, the zones in between, and lastly, the revived zone all worked as expected. While I would really like to have my irrigation system working the "right way", with a dedicated wire for each valve, I am very happy with this solution and highly recommend it to anyone with 1) a faulty zone due to a bad wire and no spares in your existing bundle or 2) wanting to expand your existing system to add a "new" zone but without wanting to dig up your yard to run brand new wire.Of course, this solution will only work if you have more than one working valve in the vicinity of the dead/new zone valve. If you do not already have a working wire in that area, this will not magically create a circuit.

Dead Zone wire? This is THE quickest and cheapest fix
My controller is in my garage on the opposite side of the house from my 2 manifold boxes. This season one of my zones is shorting somewhere underground. It’s probably 200’+ to run another wire + time and labor. I have 3 other zones that still function perfectly. Added one from the 2 pack of these to the controller per directions and then another from the pack to the solenoid and common. Turned the system on scenically and it worked first time! Genius. Pricey but literally half the cost of the other add-a-zone solution and probably does the exact same job. All components are waterproofed but they still recommend buying some gel caps (Lowe’s or HD have them in the wire nut section) for longevity. This is THE no brainer fix if you’re in a similar situation.
