SpeedoBiofuse Rift Goggle V2

I've used Speedo Biofuse swim masks for my daily 60-lap swims for over a decade now. I generally buy a new pair once a year. They can easily function for a year and a half, maybe even longer, but I've found that after a year the lens become too clouded for comfortable use. I also use them swimming in the sea a few times a year.The fit is perfect every time, for me. I have a narrow oval head and brands other than Speedo sometime have problems achieving a proper seal around my eyes and forehead. Most brands are produced in Asia (Including Speedo) but I think the specs for Speedo may be more targeted toward the oval heads of European-descended swimmers than the wider heads of many Asians. I've found this to be true of motorcycle helmets as well, only a few brands nowadays are properly designed for oval heads.I've never had a strap break on the Speedos. One pair did start leaking at the lens seal after a year's use but the other nine or 10 pairs I've used daily over the years never leaked at all even after heavy use. If it weren't for the eventual lens clouding, I could probably go two years per pair. All swim mask lenses have this problem, and no amount of 'special care', lens formulas, etc will prevent it.At any rate, I swear by this model and hope Speedo never stops producing it.

Since I was a very little kid I have always swam with traditional swimming googles. Unfortunately, I had a retina detachment while swimming a year ago. A year later, I am allowed to do sports again and now I cannot use traditional swimming googles, because they can put pressure on my eyeball. This model of swimming glasses presses over your face and not on your eyes or the area close to your eyes. Let me clear, this type of wide swimming glasses are worse for any serious swimmer. I cannot jump and dive into the water with them. The seem to me as designed for the elderly or aqua-gymers. However, I have used these swimming glasses for a week and I can swim and train hard with them. That is more than enough for me, as I no longer compete, I just pretend to stay healthy and enjoy some serious swimming. I am very thankful to Speedo for these swimming glasses, because I love and need to swim.
