I received it real quick. The package is awesome with all components and a disk. I don't have a CD-driver but I was able to download all the required info from the github link seller providing, like the installation instruction.No welding need to install each component, since the PH2.0 connecter is quiet user friendly. I don't need to worry about any issues the wrong connection will causes. It was joyful to set these stuff up in about 2 hours. After the installation, I tried to follow the instruction to download the APP online and make it runnable. But the car coldn't move, although the module looks like working well. I contacted to the customer service and reallized that the ideal voltage shoulb be 7.0V, mine was 5.9V. I also met some problem during testing the capability of obstacle avoidance. The car stoped when it was still far away from the obstacle. After reading the specification, I found that we can ajust the resistence to set the distance of obstacle avoidance.The product is multi-functional and programable, which supports Scratch and Arduino IDE. This is definitely a excellent experience to the beginner of Arduino. Of course, if you wanna gain more understanding to it, you have to spend more time on doing the deep dive. Apart from these, the technical support is always on time. I will highly recommend this Arduino robot cat kit to everyone.

I am so ready for Christmas! My two sons are builders at heart especially my eldest child (around 10 years). He loves building. He has been wanting to do harder projects so we have been looking at options to help him expand his learning. We have been looking for something that he can dig into and try out. We found it in this great fun toy. He loves watching shows that have building in it especially robots. We have been looking for something to start him in programming. This will be our first attempt at a robot. I’m excited to see how it goes on Christmas.I opened up the product and looked at the CD-Rom with tutorial and over all the parts to get an idea if we would like the product and it looks great. The guide looks like it is instructive. There is also tech support and was easy to get to. The acrylic board is very strong and thick. The kit is great it has everything you need. There is even a small screwdriver, wrench sleeve, and micro –usb cable that my son will love. Seriously everything you could want to get started.I highly recommend and a great idea for a little boys birthday or Christmas present.

I'm a super organized Christmas shopper and have the goal of having all my Christmas gifts purchased and wrapped by the Sunday after Thanksgiving. We purchased this robot as a gift that our son will be receiving for Christmas. Since our son is a major Wall-E fan and has been wanting to create his own robot, this robot kit seems like the perfect gift for him. My husband is a computer programmer and he is extremely excited at the pieces we’ve unboxed as we carefully reviewed the pieces to make sure everything was there and it was something that my husband could help our son put together. The kit is great, all the pieces are there, however, there are not any directions included in the box – for this reason I’m rating this kit a 4. My husband is excited to put this together with our son and we both can’t wait for them to put this together on Christmas day.

This Bot is pretty cool. However it is supposed to be loaded the sketch/program and ready to go. It does not, you will have to install the sketch and fix the bugs. Good solid car. Check your parts carefully and check that the arduino and the shield (motor driver Shield) that it has the Pins to plug into each other. I bought another and used just tried the board in to the first bot and again wont run. Just LED's flash. So I returned it. It is a good solid bot but you will have to be proficient with C programming to get it to work and will take some time which in my case is my goal. No assembly instructions and no software CD. Will not plug and play so be warned.

works ok. Not great, but ok. Some things don't work right like the remote.. it works but the code doesn't make it work correctly.. it see's the IR pulses and keeps triggering on then off, on then off in a cycle.Then, programming the board only works 50% or less of the time due to it not being official Arduino equipment. SUPPORT SAYS ITS DUE TO A BAD USB CABLE, but NOT TRUE. All of my other real and fake Arduino's work fine with the same USB cables.

The plastic bracket that holds the RGB ultrasonic sensor is broken and unusable. Also, several pins on the PS2 interface board were severely bent. The pins may could be straightened but may just as well break off. The shipping box was not damaged so this could be a quality control issue. Hopefully the seller will make this right with a replacement, if so I will update this review accordingly. Despite the damaged parts this seems to be a solid kit.UPDATE 12/31/2019:All damaged parts were replaced with no issue. Very satisfied.

This is my first experience programming for Arduino with my 12 years old son.When he got it, he was so excited to finish the build. Only took him a few days and he learned alot! At the time, we had some places that we didn’t understand. We got help on the github provided by the company. Thanks! I would highly recommend this kit for beginners. I will definitely be buying other Emakefun products in the future

I really like this product, this is my first arduino car it help a lot in get start on programming.the car is awesome. if you assemble them right,they will work exactly as you wish. if you are interested in programming electrical car as I doI totally enjoy the process of making this. The couterparts of the car comes well on the package. The shopper's tech support give efficient guide when I met problems. I really happy about their customer services and quick respond. I highly recommend this product, and i will try more emakefun products later
