To notch.
I put these in the lights nearest my doors, front and back. They certainly save me from insects trying to get in at night, as they’ve already been zapped. I recently changed out my old bulbs (same type) and was really encouraged how stuffed full they were of nasty flying pests.

Option to turn LED off
I loved that it came with an option to run it without the LED light always on. I looked for a button and broke down and read the instructions and it's just a matter of turning it off and on quickly :)

Did not function when recieved
we got this bulb earlier this spring to prep for bug season and took it out of the box a week ago and it did not work. i have had one of these bulbs before and it worked well. however, the fact we recieved a faulty bulb really makes quality control an issuse. at this point only 50% of the bulbs i recieved are functional.

Meh, it's not awful...
The LED part of the light stopped working in just a few months, the bug zapper part still lit up but I really didn't notice a big difference in little pests, there are maybe like 5 buggies dead in it but not alot under it

No more moths coming inside when I go out to walk the dog!
I need a light at my front door to see when I take the dog for a walk after dark. I was having a problem with moths coming around the light then entering the house when I opened the door after dark. I wanted to try this light to see what happened. I did not want a blue light zapper but just a white light to keep the bugs away. This light has a small blue light but it doesn't zap bugs, they just don't come around to begin with.

It works!
It catches and kills the flying gnats that come out at night and are attracted to lights. I don’t have them zeroing in on me when I’m on my phone with lights off and only the phone light is on.

Bug Zapper really does Zap Bugs!
The bug zapper light bulb really works! I tried one, and it was so effective that I boughtseveral others. They give a good light which then attracts bugs into their interior andtraps them. They are good looking though a bit unusual. Just screw them in as youwould any light bulb and they do the work! I use them outdoors on the deck and nearbedroom windows.
