i do some nice things for myself. this is one of them. one of the most expensive soaps i buy and well worth it to me. i work at the hospital, a stressful, dirty, place at times. its nice to start the day fresh, and more often, nice to come home, from a long 12 hour shift, and wash the days long stressful acumalation away ….even it you use this a just a bath or occasional soap, buy one bar, and try it, its firm, hard, and well made, it leaves you felling clean and the smell will relax you like a yoga -Easy Pose (Sukhasana). Ok just be nice to your self and try one bar.there is a reason why , even while this soap is expensive, during Christmas, Valentines, and such, it is hard to find. It makes a great gift. ;)

Love the scent of this soap! It is strong however, for those of you who don't like pungent smells. And the scent lasts on the skin for quite awhile afterward. If you like bar soap, this is a VERY good buy. The bar lasts a long time, feels wonderful and smells clean and outdoorsy. I consider myself to be a bar soap snob and this is one of my favorites.

My husband lives this soap as it is not perfumey and has a natural scrubbing effect ( he gets super dirty in his line of work). One bar usually lasts him about three months. I think it’s a little high on price but hubby loves it, and we’ll, he does smell nice after using it; Haha!

I absolutely love this soap. It smells amazing and feels wonderful on my skin! This soap is worth every penny. I first bought it for a friend when I was at Biltmore at one of the shops in Antler Village. It smells amazing in the packaging and, since there was only one bar left at the shop, I gave it to her. The soap left a wonderful smell in the car on the way home. I started looking online and found it on amazon. Since I have prime, it made more sense to order here than at other sites it can be found on. I love my soap!!!!

I give this a 10 in fragrance although years ago it smelled even better. I can’t rate as a soap since I use it as a sachet to scent my bathroom cabinet.

The first time I used this soap I was so impressed! It was gentle, moisturizing and smelled heavenly. I bought another bar for $10, equally impressed. This last time I purchased this soap, the price had increased, it's not as moisturizing and hardly has any scent. I may not be using this anymore.

I will buy this product and scent anywhere, anytime. It is heavenly. The product is very old fashioned. It is made from very pure, and well known ingredients. The presentation is lovely in each product, and makes you feel like you have your own spa. I have tried the bar soap, the hand soap, and the lotion, and loved everyone. Barr-co make many other fragrances, and they are made in the US. Although, there is an extensive line of products, not all are available here at Amazon. I hope they will add others soon.
