I all fairness, I haven’t used it yet. But I’m unimpressed so far. The item is made of brittle plastic and doesn’t seem sturdy at all. The directions and box do not tell you what kind of batteries are required (or how many) and the battery compartment is screwed shut with a TINY Phillips head screw. I’m going to have to buy a screwdriver small enough to even open the compartment. And the directions tell you to fill it “to the fill line,” but they don’t tell you what opening to put the bubbles in. I had pretty much decided it must be the top opening, until I came and read the reviews here to find out what size batteries I needed, and saw someone else say the bubbles go in the mouth of the whale. I would have dumped the solution in the wrong place and ruined the toy if I hadn’t seen that. And the mouth has no fill line, so who know how much I should put in. So far this seems like just another piece of Chinese junk that will need to be returned. We shall see...

Ridiculously good value for money. When i was a kid i used to dream of having a toy like this and now i can for less than 30US dollar!! This helicopter is easy to control but does require some skill but the good thing is that you can smack it into walls, the roof, the light fittings and it survives unscathed each time. I bought a bag of spares with mine and i have never needed any of them. One word of warning though, its probably best not to fly it outside i did one day and a breath of wind carried it into the neighbors garden. Quite embarrassing, a grown man asking for his toy helicopter back haha.

This product is not good. My son decided to use some of his birthday money for an item he wanted. He chose this helicopter (I previously owned a few like this from SYMA). It took a very long time to arrive and kept seeing delays, needless to say he wanted to use it right out of the box. I knew we'd need to charge it and get fresh batteries into the controller before use. We charged the helicopter and took a test flight in the house (no wind, no other RC's that would cause interference).We tried to start the trimming process which seemed to go ok and took less than a minute. After that things went sideways (almost literally). Without touching the elevation lever, the helicopter shot up and hit the ceiling. I took over control just in case as it was new and I didn't want him to ruin his new toy. I had a feeling there was an issue because I could see the confusion on his face. After I took control I was able to get it to hover for a few seconds and without touching anything else it spun around twice in a circle. I thought that was odd, but it didn't hit the ceiling. My son thought I did something awesome and asked "how'd you do that", which I let him know I didn't. I was slowly lower the helicopter back down and it lost transmission and fell to the floor.After that we tried to drain down the battery so we could go for a re-charge and not ruin the lithium ion battery by recharging it too soon. I changed the controller batteries to be safe. Once charged, we ran into the same issues on flight 2.

this is a fun toy for kids to stay busy and thankfully the toy includes many bags of bubble solution. Solution goes into mouth of the whale :) not on top! its been more than a month and my twins are still asking for bubbles so we use it pretty often. we just use store bought bubble solution as we already used up the provided ones. the toy has to be standing on stable surface not tilted otherwise it leaks because the solution place is at the very low point. so i dont let my kids to carry it around like they wish to. I added the video how much fun we have with it :)

My son loves bubbles and I got this for him. We have brought it to several of his play dates. The kids screamed and laughed and loved it.Tips:Go get batteries and large bottles of bubble solutions from dollar tree after placing the order. The solution provided will be gone pretty quick as the kids will play it non stop. So you want to have more bubble solution in hand.

I bought this last summer when my boy was around 18mo. My rating is low because it so easily leaked everywhere —see my picture of the whale on the ground. My son wanted to pick it up but the bubble liquid would pour out of the front. I put it on the table for a bit and that does solve the problem. BUT anytime I needed to move it, it'd start leaking. I didn't like that I/my son had to be so fragile with holding it perfectly level. It does produce a GREAT amount of bubbles so it does the job well there! One last bummer about it is that it requires you to mix your own bubbles with packets. Meh.

Worked for one flight.Then it all went to heck...wouldn't respond then would idle at any throttle setting, then would go full boreout of sight with no throttle response.Invest in something else...not this.

Awesome price! I was a tad skeptical since it was so inexpensive, but I needed it for a trunk or treat! I received it and to my surprise it was a great quality! Blows tons of bubbles. When I opened the box I realized I forgot a screwdriver to open the spot for batteries..low and behold - they included a screwdriver in the box! We have used it multiple times and it has held up great!
