Pioneer Photo Albums DA-200CESW Ivory Photo Album, White

Looked good for photos.

Product picture and description told me mostly everything I needed and wanted to know. I am archiving my mom's photos and this will be used to put pictures from all 3 daughters weddings. This Pioneer photo album Pioneer Embroidered Scroll Fabric Frame Cover Photo Album, Ivory on Ivory has a beautiful ivory fabric cover with a coordinating ivory embroidered scrolling design on the bottom half. The picture looks light green, but after looking it up elsewhere on-line and confirming that it does indeed appear ivory, I took their word for it and that is exactly what I got. It has a space on the front of the cover (a fabric sewn frame) for an additional photo that can be inserted from the inside front cover. There is a clear plastic window cover that you put on top of the picture before inserting to protect the photo. This photo album holds 200 4" x 6" horizontal photos, 2 per page. I love these newer style photo albums with the materials designed to protect the photos from ageing, light, etc. (Archival, photo safe: acid, lignin and PVC free) and the place for a memo next to each photo is great. Who won't forget the exact details of the event 20 years later-this will help you with that. An additional picture of the inside of the photo album on the product page would have been nice to show it has a designed background but not too busy to distract from your pictures. My only concern is with the individual photo sleeves. Each page is divided into 2 separate slots for 2 photos and the divider that keeps them apart does not extend all the way across. This is probably so you can put a picture in vertically instead of horizontially (1 instead of 2 per page-they call this BI-DIRECTIONAL) to show off those pictures that were taken the long way and not the wide way, which is very nice, but I'll have to see if the pictures stay in place or slip down on the one corner where there is no support, expecially since most of my pictures are 3 1/2" x 5" not 4" x 6". The album is bookstyle, does not take refills and is therefore not expandable. The price was very good for the quality and you just have to love Amazon Prime 2 day free shipping. This album arrived in 1 day!! and was very well packed. You can't go wrong with this elegant and functional photo album. 5 stars.

This is a beautiful album. Perfect for a wedding or any other special occasion album since the embroidered fabric cover is botanical. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is the pages are that thin material that does tear easily if you aren’t careful. I read previous reviews and decided the price and appealing appearance was worth taking a little extra time and care with the album. I had no issues putting pictures in the album. Just don’t go about it like a gorilla and you’ll be fine. Well worth the price.

Beautiful book

I got this for a friend's wedding gift. I put snapshots from a variety of guests in it. It added another dimension to the event. She loved it.

This is a really nice album for wedding pictures. Both my daughters got married last summer and I have purchased 4 of these in all. It's nice to be able to put a picture in the front cover of the album depicting what/who the album is about. The quality is very nice.

I've ordered Pioneer photo albums through Amazon before with no problem. Unfortunately, this particular one was a big problem. When I opened the box there was a terrible chemical smell. I took the album out of the plastic and put it in another room to air out. 2 days later I put some photos in the album. After an hour I was short of breath which I have never experienced before. After many visits with my doctor we determined that I had a reaction to the chemicals that were used in the wrapping of this product and my lungs are still healing. Was this Amazon or Pioneer packing/shipping materials? I don't know but wanted to put a warning out there to others. Apparently this can happen with things being shipped from China, then sitting in Amazon warehouse for a length of time. If you smell a bad chemical smell, just close it up and get it out of your house. Return it or throw it out but don't risk breathing it and affecting your health.

Only problem I found was that you had to be very careful when inserting a photo you can tear the plastic picture holder
