I'd rate the product more of a 4.5 but there is no .5 system and I feel like a 4 is too low. It's a great product and I bought it for my motorcycle helmet. I am a female rider and my helmet is getting quite funky to be honest. The spray has a decent scent to it that is not overwhelming. It's the type of cleaning detergent type of smell. It's definitely much better though than the lysol spray I used before. I would recommend the product because it does what it does, it disinfects and while the order isn't my type it isn't too offending. It basically does what it says.

This stuff works great for my hot yoga mat. I have the kind that is a mat and towel in one and requires machine wash and 24 HR hang dry. Because I practice 5 days a week I need a good spray to get me through the days I don't wash it.Only bummer with this purchase is I thought I was ordering the large bottle, but I accidentally got the 8 oz which is very tiny (gym bag size). I'll order the 24 oz one again from another seller.. Price is insane for just 8 oz.

This stuff is great! Smells good, not too chemically or perfumey, just straight up clean. I use it on my boxing gloves (1 pair each of raw leather and vinyl), inside my gym shoes, and just used it to spray down some wet suits that had been put away wet for about 3 weeks before I got to them. The bottle's small enough to fit in your gym bag, if you're so inclined, but I'd recommend putting it in a plastic bag so it doesn't leak.

I bought this product for my Son's football helmet. The helmet was used in previous seasons. The smell in the helmet is ridiculous. So, I looked up Clear Gear Spray. It has a decent smell, but it just wasn't strong enough to knock down that smell. I did use it for his shoulder pads and it worked well.

I'm new to hockey and I want to keep my new goaltending gear as new as possible for as long as possible and the Clear Gear spray is doing a great job of keeping my chest protector, helmet and pants in like-new smelling condition! After I get home from the rink, I'll unpack my kit, hang it up, to where it can air-out and give a few generous sprays to the inside of the padding and helmet. I'll repack everything before heading out for another stick and puck and it smells like the inside of my house instead of a locker room! Love the stuff - been using it for months on new gear and intend on keeping up the regimen!

It simply did not come close to eliminating or reducing footwear odors. My wife actually said they smelled worse after using the spray, letting it dry, then wearing my shoes for the day.

Great product just runs out so fast, buying the larger one next time

My husband is a personal trainer. He had a major odor problem with his gym bag and wrist straps. After using several methods of attack to get rid of the smell he declared defeat. New attack.Clear Gear. One uses and every bit of stink was gone. Victory is ours! The next day he sprayed everything at work. He feels that his clients are better protected from germs and viruses compared to what he was using. Another plus, no perfumey or "hospital"smell. We've used it at home on dog beds, rugs, carpet and furniture. We highly recommend this product.
