Goose

My youngest loves this book. She is turning four. She chose this book at the library so many times that I finally just bought it, and she'll be getting it for her birthday on Sunday.The story is very simple, just a sentence or two on each page. The illustrations are minimal with black lines and solid, bold colors, just like on the cover art. My daughter loves pointing out Goose on each page and yelling "Honk!"I'm excited to give her Goose in a couple of days, and I'm sure we'll be buying more books from this series.

Was a fun book. Not quite as good as Goose Goes to School, but still a hit. i'm surprised it hasn't been officially published in the US. My daughter would like more scenes where Goose hides. The author has put a few good lessons in the book.

An adorable series about the adventures of Goose! I work in a public library and this series initially caught my eye because my grand daughter is nicknamed Goose! It turns out, Laura Wall is a wonderful children's author who wrote a charming series. Great storytime books for preschool age children.

My kids love this book we end up reading it multiple times a day.

The entire "Goose" collection is charming and lovely. Bright, simple, colorful illustrations and delightful and fun stories. Laura Wall is wonderful. Our 2-y-o (now three) granddaughter loves reading these books ("honk")--she is now three. We renewed these books from the library many times and finally bought several to treasure with her and our new grandson (and future grandkids). Perfect books for and 2- to 6-y-o kids. Highly recommended.

This is a great hardcover picture book that features just one sentence per page and an illustration. It is about a little girl who is lonely, until she meets a goose. They become friends and have a great day at the park. She goes back the next day and plays again with the goose. The the goose says he has to go because winter is coming but he ends up staying! It is a cute story of friendship and quick read. My daughter laughs and laughs about the goose and the little girl. The illustrations are very bright and fun.

I brought this book for my friend's daughter who loves reading and it certainly did not disappoint. The bright colours, joyful images and charming storyline make this a beautiful gift for a child. And what's more, my friend's daughter, who is learning to talk, now has a new word: Goose!

My 4 month old loves the pictures in this book and the story and pictures are entertaining enough for me to reread! I'll definitely be getting more of the goose books.

A brilliant introduction to the Goose series of stories - my grandson is really 'hooked' and is always asking for the next book
