Great fit, air volume about the same as the original. The old one just wore out after 25 years, and made a lot of bearing noise. This one is much quieter.

Used as a replacement bath fan motor in my NuTone 665P. Not sure how it compares to new performance as this unit is ~30 years old.These old Nutones are noisy by todays standards and this replacement fan isn't any quieter. Seems to move a bit more air than the tired old one was before it died.The fans I have are the fancy ones with a heater fan unit and an exhaust fan unit. This saved me from having to rip out and replace the whole thing. Bolted right up and installed easily...worth every penny.

Got this installed in place of the old fan motor I Broke Saturday. It fit in the same mounting plate as the old one but isn't exactly the same shape. The mounting bolt holes are in the right spot but it doesn't have the extra spacers molded in the upper area where it bolts onto the plate so it kind of floats there but it tightened down fine and works without issues. You could probably take a couple bolts and run them down to make the spacer you need if it bothers you if you have spare nuts and bolts around.The actual fan blade is a bit bigger too but fits fine once installed in the mounting setup and pulls more air too. It is quite a bit louder than the old 50cfm motor fan combo but is 70 cfm with a slightly bigger fan. If you want whisper quiet this isn't for you, if you want a better fan motor and don't mind some extra noise this is a great upgrade and should help keep your bathroom mirror and everything else dry better than the original unit did.

Didn't want to spend over $100 replacing the entire exhaust fan unit. Took a gamble and it paid off. My unit has the light, exhaust fan and heat blower for cold mornings. Removing the plastic cover without breaking the tabs was nearly impossible, but a little crazy glue fixed it. The old fan came out, and new one went in after I cleaned the old crust and dirt off. Did a test for operation before fully reassembled and it runs smooth and moves way more air than my old exhaust fan. It's a little loud but not unbearable. Removing moisture and unwanted odor is more important. I would recommend this exhaust fan to anyone. Also to verify my fan was shot I plugged it into the receptacle that the overhead light was plugged in to and the fan was completely dead. Just wanted to make sure before I had ordered it.

Easy to install

I replaced a very old one that was clackity. This one is more powerful (smoke test) and not as loud. It is not a silent fan, so I might add rubber washers some day, but it is fine as is.

Delivery was a day late, but it is winter here, so maybe sliding up and down driveways was the cause of that.Just replaced and working well. I will update this review if product issues occur moving forward. I ordered this to replace the fan motor in our old Nutone Model 9965. It is not the recommended replacement part number, but it fit. The only potential issue is the actual fan wheel (blades) is slightly bigger in circumference than the original, so it comes close to rubbing on the plastic cage sides, but barely does not. (Maybe able to use the original fan wheel from the old motor as plan B, as that one fits also. May need to use something to keep it tight as it does slide easily but gravity helps.)This is not a completely quiet motor, but it is no louder than the original on the 9965.2/2/23. Update, still working great.
