Extremely impressed. I have always used lifeproof cases up until now. I put this case on Tuesday. Wednesday I forgot my phone on the passenger step of my semi truck. By the time I realized it was too late the phone had fallen of the step into the street as I was turning. When I found it it was screen down and had tire tracks over it. I picked up my phone expecting the worst. Only to find out there is a small set of scratches on the screen protector and one small scratch on the back. The case 100% protected my phone. Everything works as it should after being run over by a 20,000 lbs semi truck.

The media could not be loaded.  This case is strong and sturdy. When tested, it protected my phone like how it is suppose to. Through research, I learned that these kinds of cases had a impact on the phone's speaker, muffling the sound. However this case didn't block nor muffle the sound coming out from the speaker. When I watched YouTube on it, the sound was clear. I am satisfied with this product and I like it.

Not as durable as you would think. I have had this only for a month. It happened to fall at a point of impact near where you raise the volume up and down. The problem with the material of this phone is that it’s not flexible enough to retain its shape. It is not flexible enough to bend back to its original form so I am now stuck looking for another case to replace this one that I paid almost $30 for and cannot find the original screwdriver that came with this case to remove screws.This is perhaps an example that a metal case is not exactly better than a sturdy rubber/PVC plastic case.t’s also worth mentioning that this case is painted to look sturdy but almost immediately the color starts to rub off which is an example thar it was cheaply made. A PVC case would have the color blended in and not painted on so it does not begin to rub off automatically. I will update this review with photos

First, this case is NOT waterproof. I tested in the sink under running water and then submerged in about four inches of water and while not much water penetrated the case, water still got in, which negates the waterproof rating. What other people have said is true, water will get inside and you will have to break the case to extricate your phone, unless you carry the concomitant miniature hex wrench everywhere you go.Second, the customer service number listed on this Amazon is invalid.Third, the mute slider does not work and in order to force it to work, I have to use the small screwdriver that came with the case. I have removed and attached the front case according to the seller’s directions but the slider will not work both ways. If it mutes, it will not unmute; if it unmutes, it will not mute. Once the case is screwed in place, the slider is not long enough to be pressed with my finger unless I have that small screwdriver or a woman's long nail because it sits flush with the hole instead of extending so it can be depressed! This case is absolute garbage and I am in shock that they charge $29 for it and it seems the good reviews are fake. I hope no one else wastes money on this company's products.

This case has been a dream since I got it. The few things that I’m seeing that might need so tweaking are when typing or using the right of the phone it’s hard to use the letter p, l, and backspace. And I have to modify my phone charger to fit it’s extremely tight(I know that the purpose of the case is so that it is watertight) and playing games while having someone on speaker the other person has a hard time hearing me. But other than those few minor problems I love my case. I have brought several “waterproof” cases that within house my phone had dirt and other things inside the case on top of my screen or they just didn’t fit properly(too big, or too small). This case fit perfectly, it came with detailed instructions on how to put it on your phone, a cleaning cloth, extra screws, and a wrist holder that comes in handy when you trying to carry a bunch of things or if you occasionally drop you phone. And best part is everything is covered. What do I mean the cameras(front and back), flashlight, speaker(at the top) and home button are completely sealed. Unlike most cases that they aren’t covered. I could have saved myself $100’s of dollars if I bought this case from the beginning. I love it. Thank you, thank any of you that read my review, because this case won’t fail you.

I BEAT on phones....seriously. I ride horses, and my phones go through hell. Since buying this case I have dropped it on concrete at least 7 times, slammed it in a door once, and splashed it with water a couple more. Oh....I also sat on it about 22 times by accident after stuffing it in my back pocket. Still ticking.The paint is wearing off the front edges of the metal just a bit....which doesn't bother me, I didn't buy it to look pretty. It is doing EXACTLY what I purchased it for, and it's been at least 6 months!I destroyed 2 Lifeproof cases in 2 years....this thing appears much more robust.Note, speaker works great, when I talk on it up to my ear I ALWAYS hit buttons because of the angle I have to hold it at. This rarely bothers me since I use a headset 99% of the time.While the newer iPhones are designed to handle water...the dust and debris I put mine through makes this case a great investment.To tell you how hard I am on phones, the motherboard detached on my last one. Apple was a combination of impressed and confused as to exactly how I managed it with no external damage. This case seems to be doing the trick of both protecting and cushioning from multiple impacts. I appreciate the bright yellow color - makes it easier to find it in construction sites and barns.

I could not figure out why my phone was not working. They could hear me and I could not hear them. I took my phone in to the ATT store today thinking the problem was the phone, but once I took the cover off, I could hear clearly. I wound up buying another case and cover and will be returning the iPhone case to Amazon as soon as I get the return authorization. BTW, this is not a reflection on the provider who shopped the product on time and it matched the photo on the web site.
