So I got this Salmon and Steelhead liquid and a bass flavored jelly, and it has not let me down. I try to be very real and honest with my reviews, and I'd post pics but don't know about the new Amazon rules about accessing my storage so I won't. Both flavors have caught me fish in the first couple outings, and as my title said I caught my first salmon on it! I don't even know if the scent helped or it was luck but I had a jig with some shrimp under a bobber in lake Michigan, and I kid you not I landed 2 coho and was freaking out. One 6-7 lbs and another 3-5 lbs. Also hooked 2 others but lost them. I'm learning the big pond techniques better everyday but catching my dream fish the 2nd time I used this scent, it have to recommend it. I'm keeping the bass flavor for the burbs and ponds, because this one's probably the best for the great lakes. Thanks smelly jelly!

Not very thick, runs right off the bait, would be ok if it was like the old smelly jelly I used to use.

This is the best crawfish scent I have come across. It lasts longer than others and has a strong smell. But the most important aspect is where I fish this scent has been very effective. I noticed the fish bite harder and multiple times, other scents usually got me just a test bite from the fish.I am catching small mouth bass and walleye, after using smelly jelly crawfish they would take a couple small test bites than just nail the bait with a gulping bite and I always knew it was coming and get the hook set. I put it on jigs, rubber worms and crankbaits. Love it!

I have always used smelly jelly. When my local store ran out I bought some other brand and wasn’t impressed. So I am back to the smelly jelly. It stays on your bait longer.

This is the second best product on the market for attracting fish to your artificial bait. The only product better is the Smelly Jelly brand Gel. I have the best luck in the Puget Sound using Herring scented gel, followed by a tie between Sardine and Anchovy. A plus for the liquid is that you can pour/squirt it onto your bait or flasher with your gear over the water rather than in your boat and there is no chance of a glob of gel falling off bait and into your drink or into your boat.
