Honeywell Uvex S0600X Seismic Safety Eyewear, Black Frame, Clear Uvextra Anti-Fog Lens/Headband

Have used these for all types of different projects ranging from overhead work with falling debris to metal grinding and sanding, these work great for all different projects. The foam that lines the inside of the frames is very soft and comfortable and forms a seal around the eyes to stop flying dust and the lenses are durable enough to stop chips and other debris from impacting your' eyes. I would recommend taking the time to store these in some sort of case or sock to help from lenses getting scratched, although they do seem fairly scratch resistant, any amount of precaution will allow these to last even longer. The hinges and earpieces do not seem to have any weak points and can flex enough to hold up to tough jobs and impacts (or forgetting to remove from a pocket and leaning or sitting on them)

I purchased these for weed eating but I wear them for mowing as they keep the dust and pollen out of my eyes. I also found they are good for riding an ATV. They work like goggles but are not as restrictive. I'm glad I made this purchase.

Recently had cataract surgery and these protected my eyes when mowing the grass. It kept the debris out of my eyes and so much easier than safety goggles. Safety goggles, while good, are awfully hot. These work great.

Just to start off on a vain, impractical, relatively shallow note, these will probably not attract very many of the ladies. Though, in all fairness, maybe that's just because I have a big head. (One could argue they have a sort of retro style about them)Now to a more practical note. These make for fine protection, but if you try to use anything but the headband attachment, your view becomes severely restricted by the rather large border. These must be flush with the face or it will obstruct your peripheral vision.This leads to another problem: when you are using the band attachment, they tend to fog up when doing more labor-intensive work. The vents are somewhat under-exaggerated in the design. In other words, they don't actually vent very well.Again, this leads to yet another problem: the anti-fog coating leaves spots when it gets warm and moist (condensation). The spots do rub off with a tid-bit of gentle work, but it seems like the coating would only be able to survive so many cleanings.All in all, these aren't terrible, but they aren't great either. Just don't expect the miracle hybrid that combines the best of normal and headband safety eyewear. They just don't work for my kind of work. If you are using these for normal labor, I would have to recommend just going with standard style eyewear. They are nice for blocking dust and the type, though. Not perfect, but pretty good.

I needed a clear pair so I bought these. This would be my third pair. First set caught a bolt and save my eye; the second I currently use and this would be my third.Rotate them in and out as needed.

Comfortable glasses and I don’t have any fogging problems whatsoever. Worth the money.
