I've had this up and running since July of 2019 and I agree with the positive reviews and the claims the seller makes about them except for the water proofing. One camera began having problems so I took it apart and out came about an ounce of water. All the other cameras are in relatively sheltered locations except for the one with the water in so I don't know if they might leak as well. I suspect the water got in around the screws that hold the camera halves together, the halves have a gasket that is sealed pretty well but the screws are just in their holes without any sort of water proofing. The holes are about an inch deep and I suspect water got in the holes and leaked past the screws. My suggestion is that if a camera is to be exposed to rain that the holes be plugged by a small blob of silicon glue and that the manufacturer provide rubber plugs for the screw holes in the future. The affected camera still works, once I got the water out of it I hooked it back up and it went to working during the day OK. However, at night the infrared diodes or the circuitry running them gets hot or something because the night vision drops out after a while and stays off for up to half an hour, comes back for a few seconds and goes out again repeating over and over.

So easy to install and setup. The manual was written in a hurry with spelling errors and no-sens phrases, but we kind of got customized with Chinese-English already. I live in a one story 3000fs house and the cameras are all outside and I have no problem connecting through multiple walls. Impressive.The only downside (four star review) is because there is not way to set up the system remotely online, like my Costco NightOwl wired system, so for that you have to keep the system accessible with mouse and monitor connected. The NighOwl is packed in the attic and I set it up remotely and change the settings without having to access the system.UPDATE: After a month I almost drop a star because of the controlling software that needs many improvements. On the phone playback is a joke. No player buttons, not Pause, FF or RW, and only video playing at 1x speed with red spots for movements recording. Hard to search for anything. On the system monitor also Playback is limited. Speed up to 8x only no RW and no zoom feature but only a day of video or an hour.Besides this limitations, the cameras are working really well from long distances and through walls, and the monitoring video is really good quality.

This camera system is of really top quality. I really love the night vision that this system provides as you can see in the picture. The hard drive last for several days so that you can go back to see what goes on throughout the day. For example my wife had a plant stand on the side of our house and we were wondering why the plant stand was moved in front of our house. I simply open the camera backup system and back tracked to the time that the plant stand was on the side of the house and ended up in the middle of our walkway. there was an elderly woman who was walking her dogs and the dogs leash wrapped around the planter and ended up in the middle of the walkway. The only downfall is that the WiFi system at times doesn't seem as strong, so at times the cameras will go in and out, but overall the system is a nice system.

Packaging was excellent. Setup instructions were clear and easy to follow. Setting up the whole system on a table top as instructed made verifying that everything was working simple. I initially used a small TV as a display and that worked great. Because of space limitations I had to order a small computer monitor to use with the system and as shown in the instructions had to use VGA vs HDMI. I have not tried the motion detection yet which is why I rated the motion detection as 3 stars. Menu controls work well. I haven't been able to get the remote view to work yet but that may be a problem with how I have connected the system to the internet. Overall I am more than happy with this camera system. I have been looking for a 5th camera that is comparable with this NVR but so far have not found one. If anyone knows where I can get one I would greatly appreciate a link to that source.

Very pleased with the system we bought. Installation was so easy, night vision is exactly what we wanted. Have not needed to use tech support yet, but we feel confident that will also be a great experience. We would definitely recommend this system.

The Plug & Play made it incredibly easy for installation, although it is also easy to add additional cameras by simply following instructions. I have purchased 3 of these units recently and am incredibly happy with both the product and helpful customer service for a question I had. The wireless cameras pick up well through walls and even brick and provide a strong signal. I couldn't be more pleased and if I could have given more than 5 stars, I would have.

The night vision actually lets you see everything clearly instead of needing some light like my old system did. Had trouble with one camera and customer support helped me go through testing it and is sending a new camera.Support team is very easy to work with and very knowledgeable.Would definitely do business with ANRAN again.

We tried 2 different systems and neither one worked. The 1st one didn't do anything so we tried a replacement. At least the 2nd one we were able to get pics but the NVR - HDD was never recognized just like the first one. Product support is non existent. Call during 1700 hrs (5:00 PM) PST to 6:00 AM PST, REALLY? Every time we tried to call, even during those hours, we instantly got a text that said it was not during their regular hours and to try again later. Absolutely worthless. Evidently if it doesn't work out of the box you are out of luck. The instruction manual, and I use that term loosely, is very basic at best. We are fairly tech savvy but it left A LOT unsaid or explained. On the bright side, the camera quality was wonderful if only it had a way to record and save those pretty pics. Stay away from this one.
