Buy one size larger that you usually wear as the waistband is powerful and a little snug. I bought one size larger on this last order and am glad I did.Great quality

Supports well when I work out. My doctor told me I need to use something like this and this size can't be found in my city for some reason. Shipping was fast and I have no complaints. I gave it 4 stars because it could be a little pit more soft but it is a great product.

Due to hydrocele surgery, I was required to wear athletic supporters for several weeks. I ordered 3 brands from Amazon; Duke, McDavid and Papi. Duke is the best for fit and comfort. The pouch is larger than the other two and the material is more comfortable. Sufficiently ventilated and the pouch material is soft, not abrasive. This is the only brand of the 3 I would buy again. I have a 40 inch waist and ordered X - large.Update: Recovery from my surgery continues but I'm still needing the support 7/24 so I ordered 2 extra sets recently. After repeated laundering, the Duke brand has held up fine. One of the Papi jocks I ordered, the strap is about to pull loose and they have shrunk. I wash them on gentle cycle in a mesh bag. Very happy with the Duke brand. They are very comfortable for all day wear.

The waistband is a little stiff and gets uncomfortable after a while but it stays in place, these jocks are used by NCAA & NFL players so they are built to last. The pouch is very soft and comfortable. If you find the pouch to be a little too big, just pull up the jockstrap to your natural waist and it will fit better. Great Jockstrap, in my opinion every man should have atleast one.

I found the XL supporter to be fairly tight in the waistband. I haven't washed it yet. Maybe it will loosen. I suggest ordering a size larger than you think you need. The quality of the product seems fine, but, again, I have only worn it once and haven't washed it yet.

I have always enjoyed Duke jocks. If I could not find Bike No. 10, Duke was my next choice. Now that it appears that Bike no longer makes the No. 10 or anything like their older products I am happy to see that Dukes are still available. The only brands and types available locally in stores are the newer low cut style with too much support and not enough give. The pouches of Duke and the other older style jocks support without giving TOO much support. I had given up hope of finding anything like this. I was surprised to find it here and with prices that are much much better than anything found in the local stores.

First I purchased the large since my waist is 38", and the large was so uncomfortably tight, I had to try cutting the elastic to reduce the pain when wearing. Then after giving away the 2 large size supporters, I purchased the Extra Large, and these are also way to tight on my 38" waist. The Duke pro company is producing a product that in no way will accommodate the size stipulated. If your a 38" like my I would only try an Extra Extra Large, since the company is skimping on elastic material at the expense of customer comfort. When I say tight, I mean tight enough to be so uncomfortable you can't wait to get them off. The company has to know the problem, but makes no effort to fix it. These need to be tested on real people!!

Have needed some of these supporters for sometime and thought that they might work fine. They fit just a little smaller than I think they should. Have lost some weight and therefore assumed that the extra large would be the best size. Down to a size 36-37 and these are just a very snug fit. Would recommend and the quality is good.
