Believe: A gift to celebrate new beginnings

Purchase this as a birthday gift for a friend’s teen daughter. I did read through the book before gifting it. What great affirmative words! Especially to teens and younger adults who might need the extra remind that they just need to believe.

I purchased this book especially because of a quote from Ayn Rand and planned to share it with a friend. This poem was not included in the updated version of the book. I am returning it and will purchase the original version.

I am dealing with three, serious illnesses, all at the same time.Usually a fairly positive person, I found myself needing something I could pick up & read to remind myself to beef up positive & helpful thinking ... and not to sink into hopelessness & despair. This book gathered quotes from highly respected thinkers & authors that remind me I am not the only person handling a tough time in my life. It provides me with alternative ways to counter negative & harmful thoughts that only serve to make me feel worse, physically & emotionally. Then, I can get fully back into my gratitude & meditation practices!

Item received was dirty and the one of the corners torn a little. The color on one of the letters has come off in a small area. Clearly the item was used/returned.

Ordered these to give to the important people in my life - really love the message of each quote. Wonderful gift for confirmation, graduation or special birthday.

I gave this book to both my boys. They are both starting out and beginning their careers.I felt this was a quick and good read to be inspired.
