This has worked really well for me, definitely beginner grade but it spins, it’s quiet and can handle a few pounds of clay. It slows down a bit when I center larger lumps but otherwise is a great value. The pedal works but is not too sensitive.

Great starter! My son really likes it. He will graduate from college this year becoming an art teacher and was impressed for his first personal wheel. Runs smooth sturdy and easy clean up.

It is so incredibly short, it will be a challenge to properly set it up to avoid back discomfort.* using bed risers has helped, but you have to have a short stool or tall enough risers otherwise still fairly uncomfortable. It’s quieter than expected but I do hear a bump or knock as it spins. The pedal doesn’t offer much speed control. Some notes: paint is coming up when wiping the sides off with damp paper towel, aluminum off wheel head shows up on sponge/rags as well. This is first day of use.But it did arrive on time, clean, easy setup and no noticeable defects or damage. I want to use it a little longer and will probably update to give a more fair review

Purchased for my daughter and when it arrived she immediately set it up and began molding a clay pot. She was very impressed by the sturdiness and the speed of the wheel. She was able to speed it up and or slow it down with the use of the footpedal. She is very very happy and recommends this product anybody who is a start up like her

Good price however the rotation is unbalanced. The wheel is therefore, unusable.

LOVE this little machine! I have used it every day the last two weeks and is working great, fingers crossed it lasts a long time. I love it! It’s pretty small so would recommend for someone shorter then 6ft. Recommend

I bought this potters wheel while I was taking classes at a local studio. I wanted to be able to practice at home. This wheel is completely adequate for the beginning potter. Great value.

I have three different models of these cheaper wheels for students to use. They all have their quirks. This one had a big thump with each revolution around but it is now quieter. Perhaps the belt needed to be softened by use. The wheels sit VERY low so I set them on a table and use them standing up. I much prefer this un-removable splash pan without sections to all other wheel splash pans.
