Japan Smile Kids Lighted Ear Wax Removal Cleaner with LED Light (Pink)(Japan Import)

We’ve tried the video camera ones and a bunch of the lighted ones with interchangeable tips but these are the best ones.Camera is a novelty that wears quickly and the interchangeable tips mean, tips that keep falling off and get lost.

My son has excessive wax buildup and I wanted a way to safely remove it myself since my pulse is on the artsy side. I also bought an LED Pocket Otoscope and syringes that shoot water to the side of the ear canal. The tip of this tool is on the thick side even for an 8 year old and is rubberized, leaving little space left for seeing, the tip is soft and to my surprise wax does stick to it easily. The main problem I had for this review having 3 stars is that the LED is actually on the part you hold with your hands and at eye level, and it blinds you as you're trying to look inside. In hindsight, it would make more sense if the body of it was covered in dark paint or a dark wrapping, as the tip of this tool does have the right light on the tip. My next experiment will be to mask it myself with some of duck tape or electrical tape. The package is completely marked in Japanese, not a word is in English, but you know what this is for... Warning, please be careful and know your limitations, a person can do some serious damage with this. If you don't feel up to the task, don't do it.

Love the white light! Also love that its plastic so it doesn't scrap the skin too hard like the metal ones. I use this on my kids and husband only. For myself, I use the metal ones from the Asian stores. My husband is Mexican and has never heard or used one of these, so the plastic tip doesn't scare him as much as the metal one I use. Hahaha. Only downside is changing the batteries take a while because it's hard to open the plastic compartment. You have to be gentle otherwise you can crack the plastic.

This product is constructed rather well for something so cheap, and the softness of the tip is magnificent! The light is quite bright, and I am able to see fairly deep inside the ear.The only thing relatively unwanted was the slight difficulty of pulling the button back up to turn it off. I actually pulled the button off accidentally, and was scared that I had broken it; however, it just popped back in without any damage.The product arrived on time, in my mailbox, and when I contacted Samurai Japan, they immediately (within 30s) contacted me back. Outstanding!

Great little tool. The tip is a little large for a toddlers ears but does help see in their ear. The light it puts out is similar to that of a fluorescent bulb in that the light is more of a flood light than a directed beam. I wish I could "aim" the light but it is basically a flood light. I assumed that the light illuminated from the tip but it illuminates from the body and travels down a clear tube. I think if the tube was "blacked-out" it would work better. Overall a decent product but needs some work.

This has been our magic tool for years. This is the 2nd i purchased since the rubber tip has ripped on the first one after long time of using the tool. I clean my 7 y.o. ears with it once a week. We stopped going to ENT doctors for wax cleaning after we start using this tool. ENT doctor was shocked how clean my daughter ears are :) i even recommended this tool to our pediatrician. Life-sever for us 👏

I have had this for 2 months, use it weekly for ~ 5-10 mins each week and the light is still bright.The removal is clear and pink as in the picture. To turn on the light, press the pink part at the end. There's a small clear cover on the tip. The length = 4 inches; the tip is 1/8 in. wide.Pros: the tip is very smooth; light is bright; the grip is comfortableCons: not yet, will update how it goes at 6 monthsNote: the tip may not fit 2 yrs. old and under, not that I'd recommend to use on them

It is made really well. It is not like the fish shape cheap ones I have tried. This is sturdy and works well, while fish shape one I have purchased twice broke right away.However, I had to return this product just because the tip was too big for my kid’s ears. He has a very small ear.

8ヶ月の娘用に買ったのですが、先のシリコンが大きすぎて耳に入りません。もう少しシリコンをシャープにしてくれれば便利だと思います。
