Fixed my parallax problem when using binoculars!
Definition of parallax: the apparent displacement or the difference in apparent direction of an object as seen from two different points not on a straight line with the objectIn other words, no matter how much I attempted to adjust binoculars I wasn't able to see through BOTH lenses simultaneously. This started 20-25 years ago after I began wearing eyeglasses to correct astigmatism. I could no longer use my expensive very good Nicons, Bushnells, and an antique German pair. Nothing worked - until my brother-in-law found these and brought them along on a vacation and I tried them. They work!! No more seeing a double image or a single image through only one lens. I don't know why or what the difference is but they work for me.Other than that, they're not the best quality optics available but they're GREAT for the price! 5 stars considering the price. They're actually worth more to me because I can use them.YES, I recommend them!!

High quality product! What GREAT VALUE for the MONEY!
This is my first binocular ever. Right of the bat I knew they were made with quality in mind; I would know, having worked as a Quality Inspector for manufacturing companies for many years. The material with which it was made feels great in my hands. It's not too slippery or too rough when handling it dry. It has a good amount of weight to it, too - not too light or too heavy. At 12x magnification, this thing produces very sharp & vibrant images. And although at that zoom power there's reduced field of vision (FOV), I didn't mind this at all because I mainly use it for surveying the distant landscape and terrain while I'm planning my route to a certain destination in my outdoor adventures. It's also great for reconnaissance use as well. For me 12x magnification is perfect, as I feel 8x is just not powerful enough ( why not just walk up 50 yards to have a closer look and not have a binocular at all) and even though 10x is ideal for many situations and uses, it just doesn't meet my needs for focusing on distant objects being observed. If you think 12x is too high, just switch from seeing through binoculars to using your naked eye to see the "big picture" and then back again. It's perfect for what I use it for. And for what it costs, I don't think I would EVER buy a pair that would be over $100s knowing that they can make something this good for way less. #TrueValue #BangForYourBuck-It is very easy to adjust, manipulate and use.-The quality of the images at 12x zoom is EXCEPTIONAL!-The lens caps included are a very nice, welcome additions.-It's compact size and design would fit in most sub compartments of most backpacks.

Over-Priced and Poor Quality
Very disappointing product. I purchased these last minute for a canoeing trip. The first time I opened the item was out on the water and immediately they started falling apart. Both of the chrome details fell off during the first use, while focusing the lenses. Based on the construction, one of the rings is still on the eye piece but rattling around. Also, you can see flecks of the black interior lining that have peeled off and are now in view. I would have expected this from a much cheaper version but got these because they appeared of better quality at a good price. I was duped!! Don't make the same mistake.

You get what you pay for
Having read many great reviews of these binoculars, I was motivated to buy them. They are worth about what you pay, nothing more. They are not as good as the reviews say. Lots of folks have never looked through a really good pair of binoculars, it seems. I was not impressed, but at least they are worth what I paid. I will give them to a teenager and find some 1940's navy field glasses that are worth looking through.

Cheap, but lightweight and durable
It’s hunting season, and it’s scouting time. I bought another brand of binoculars a few weeks ago, and my brother also wanted a pair. Since we carpool to work together, I went ahead and just bought another pair to keep in the car to scout on our way home from work (we work up north). I was going to give them to my brother, but these are way better than the other one I bought! I have a pair of vortex, but I only take that with me on actual hunting trips. If you’re just getting into the great outdoors (ie, birdwatching) as a beginner these are a great beginner’s pair for the price. They are not comparable at all to my vortex so don’t have too high of expectations

Excellent Quality For Price
I live in the country and bought these, my first pair of roof prism binoculars, to view wildlife across my pasture and through the woods. So far, I'm 100% satisfied. The clarity, 100's of yards out, is outstanding, and they're lightweight enough to hold for periods of time. My only gripe is that, for me, they're difficult to adjust to clearly see with both eyes. Yes, I read and followed the instructions, but for some reason, it's a challenge for me. But even this doesn't detract from what a terrific value these are.

Not fog proof, but still worth the price
For under $40 this seems like a reasonable set of binos. The lenses are not fog proof, which was what I was looking for, but knew at this price point it probably wouldn't be true. Fairly clear, decent size and weight. Carry strap is not as robust as I would have liked, but will probably work.
