Danny K. Women's Tapestry Bag Shoulder Handbag, Large Zipper Purse Handmade in the USA

This is my second Danny K handbag! I like the pocket configurations and the slightly wider strap on this bag. (The first purse was smaller and held up well being used for travel and occasional outings. I didn't care for the thin strap, but I modified the bag and added two D rings and a clip-on guitar strap for comfort.) I've only used this new one for a few days while I was traveling, but it appears to be the same high quality as the first, and since it's bigger, a little more versatile. It holds quite a bit of my stuff and I love that this is made in the USA!

I love Danny K bags, I have at least a half dozen of them in varying sizes and styles. I am reviewing my most recent, the “large purse” (which really isn’t very large, but is the size of the listed dimensions) in Wild Mango.I love this purse for travel, it will fold flat in your suitcase to be used on arrival. Also slim enough to use inside a large tote you might carry for travel. The fabrics are beautiful and artfully designed. The pockets are useful and functional. Craftsmanship is beautiful and I know from experience these bags are durable. And I like supporting companies that manufacture in the USA.My only very slight criticism isn’t of the product but of the listing. Because such unique fabrics are used, there will be differences in the execution and placement of fabric design. I am including photos of what I received (front and back) for comparison to the listing. Both are beautiful but they are not the same. I have been known to stand in a store and compare bags, mulling over which placement I like best. Honestly, if I had been mulling over these two bags, the one in the listing and the one I received, I probably would have chosen the one in the listing, but I’m really not certain. I like the one I got and because I have so many of these bags I was not surprised that I received a variation. I do think the listing could be improved by mentioning this however. Best to create realistic expectations.

This is a well made, beautiful purse. The fabric is striking and I love that it’s made in the USA. It has just the right number of separate pockets to be organized. I think it’s a good value and will likely buy again in different fabrics as I really enjoy changing it up!

Just got this purse in the mail. It’s really cute, well made, light weight, and practical, with lots of compartments, which I love! I avoid buying leather whenever possible and the fake leather is full of funky chemicals. I’m so happy to find this brand of beautiful fabric purses! The only thing I would change would be the black color of the strap. I bought the white with blue birds fabric and I would prefer a lighter color trim and strap. That’s just my personal taste. Really happy with my purchase!

The purse is terrific and very attractive. I've gotten compliments on it.The zipper closure needs more sizing so the material sits straight when the bag is unzipped. I think with time the sides of the bag will buckle more.

The bag I chose was just the right size for my needs, exceptionally well made and elegant in an understated way. A woman stopped me in the grocery store to ask about my bag. Apparently she goes for elegance as well so I told her about Danny K.If you're a tapestry lover, you won't be disappointed.

I have 4 Danny K purses, and really like having the options. This one is a little bigger than my others and easily accommodates my wallet and’ things.’I also like having the pocket to ship my phone into without digging to find it when I want it.They are machine washable and last forever except for one purse where the shoulder strap came out on one side, the Bella style.My friends like one of them so much they bought some. Works the variety of styles and fabrics they are all different from mine.

I have purchased a lot of tapestry in the past and made tote bags for friends and family. The tapestry that this purse is made of is as high quality as it gets. There are the right amount of pockets and zippers in this purse. It's the right size and would call it medium. Very happy with this purchase!
