Great phone holder for filming my paintings
Have only had the arm for a couple months, but so far it works like a charm. It is quite sturdy holding my iPhone when I film. The swivel head allows for a bit more adjustment since I halve to mount it on the front of my particular desk. And the arm stays where you put it. My only complaint would be that the phone clamp could extend a bit further to allow easier mounting of phones with cases. It is difficult but not impossible to get my iPhone 11 with case in the clamp. Overall happy with my purchase!

Very good!
MESSAGE TO VIEWERS: I'm not gonna just say how great this item is, this is a full review (yes, I've that much time).Excellent value for the money, but there are a few things to point out:1. It cannot hang upside down, the way its built prevents that (however, if you're creative or handy with tools it can be easily fixed to do so)2. Very sturdy. Doesnt cave under the weight of a Smartphone or GoPro, get into camcorders and you might have some problems though.3. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE ENOUGH SPACE TO CLAMP THIS. I originally mounted it to a makeshift desk where there was maybe 1 inch of space underneath the lip it was clamped to. The pad underneath the top clamp part started sliding off due to the extra strain of not using it's full clamp surface, and I had to carve a crevice for the rest of it to fit in. It really only requires about two inches, so just make sure you have that space before purchasing. The only other thing to say is that this is my first mount, but this really has everything you need. It reaches 2 feet horizontally without a ton of trouble, and scales vertically very well. Altogether, a great buy, one of the best investments I've made.

Good Product, Not Strong Enough
I've had this mount for about two weeks and it was really great! I like that it clamps on to the table and you can reposition it for different angles. I used it to film top-down videos for my crafts. I have an iPhone 8 plus which is a bit wide for the holder and just now I went to pull the sliding part out to hold the phone and it snapped off. Hopefully, there is a replacement part for the piece since it looks modular. Great product overall but the plastic was brittle.

Works great for overhead videos
I've been using this for 2 years to shoot overhead videos of my iPad for tutorials and courses. It works great. I've never had an issue with drifting as others have stated. I can't mount i to the table that I'm working on because if my hand bumps the table it will shake the camera. So you'll need to mount it to a different surface (unless what you're mounting it to is very sturdy, like a countertop that doesn't move). Otherwise it's a great product.

I now love this
UPDATE:I was originally frustrated but I am over it. This works perfectly for me. I don't use my phone in the case so I can avoid the issues others have had. I love how I can swing this in any direction to film my planner videos. Only downside now is that every once in a while I notice that it does loosen where it is attached to the just. Nothing major. I just tighten it and no issues at all. Great purchase.Previous review:Instructions would have been nice but I figured it out. No box. It came in a plastic bag with a zip tie to attach the phone holder to the arm. Easy to install. It holds my phone with is heavy when in the case. After reading some reviews I will use this without my phone case. That should hopefully make it last longer.

It just work on landscape mode and with limited rotation
I believe it needs a few more things in order to have a better usage. The first time I used it I had to struggle moving the whole body of the mount in order to get the right angle for the pictures I needed to take, the lack of rotation for the "hand" where you fix the phone make it difficult to maneuver. I had a different holder mount for a tripod that allows rotation vertical and horizontal, but I needed to buy yet another adapter in order to be able to use it properly.Additional Costs of 15,98Liveda Aluminum Metal Camera Mount Adapter for GoPro Ecosystem (11.99/2pieces) 5.99Vastar Universal Smartphone Tripod Adapter Cell Phone Holder 9.99And in the claw that hols the surfaces of the table or desk it does not have a cover for protection. If you don't already have the additional elements need to proper function I would recommend you to buy "Foldable Phone Tablet Mount Holder – Aluminum Universal Flexible Tablet Bracket Mount Holder Adjustable and Compatible with 4-13 Inches Smartphones Tablets" you will pay 12 additional dollars but it has rubber cover on the bottom protecting your desk and table, and it has different holders, and can hold a tablet, it is a little big bigger but it will work better than this one.The pictures I uploaded are with the additional adapters I got to use properly.

Thanks for this great invention.
This device holder is an absolute godsend. I have a fusion in my neck which causes neck strain when I am using my phone My daughter-in-law gave me a different kind of holder several years ago and it was very helpful until the metal in the bendable arm broke. I have ordered three different device holders but none compare to this one. I have to lay flat in bed so the one that encircled my neck wasn’t very comfortable. The other two we’re flimsy and broke quickly. The current one is so much better than any of the previous. It is sturdy and very adjustable. This purchase honestly has been transformative. It allows me to spend WAY too much time on my phone. Thanks for this great invention.

much better product than flexible holders
i have a camera holder that is flexible and it wiggles all the time and causes my videos to look shaky. I bought this and no more wiggling. very happy with the new purchase. The holder expands so that a small camera or phone can slide in place and then clamps in. plus the camera can be screwed in like the stand that came with it. Also parts from my other camera holder fit it so I now have interchangeable parts if needed.

Es bueno y estable
Hasta ahora todo bien, es firme y estable y no me ladea el teléfono con su peso. Recomendable para grabarte dibujando o lo que sea para lo que necesites grabar hacia abajo:)

No complaints from me
It arrived earlier than expected and I love that, simple design, easy to fix if one of the parts comes loose like the springs for example. The things I like most about this, is that you have knobs to adjust the arm so when you need to put it at a precarious angle, It'll hold quite well. It's a simple set up, strong, durable and does the job. It does not have the ability to hold an ipad or any kind of tablet as it's main purpose is to hold a smartphone and record or take overhead pictures with, it does it's job well. I highly recommend this one and i've used it so far to record videos as well as take overhead clear pictures of my art. Camera quality isnt the best due to my own phone being so old, so that has nothing to do with the arm itself. It's not shaky once you have it at a comfy angle and have it tightened enough.

Simple but works well
This has been a great addition to my study and has been easy to use. It is sturdy and holds the phone up well when filming. It is great for filming over your shoulder or over the top as you draw

Arm and Camera mount are excellent. Clamp mount not as adaptable as may be required.
Arm-wise, good range of motion. Camera clamp is also very versatile and secure. The base for the whole thing is a weakness however. The clamp for the articulated (anglepoise) arm is best suited for thinner vertical bookshelves. The challenge is that if you are working of many types of work surfaces, like a desk, clamping options are extremely limited. The product would be substantially improved if it was equipped with a desk base, which could be set upon any level surface, in lieu of the clamp. While a clamp has significant potential utility with this arm, there is no means to set its position if the clamp is applied for a horizontal support.Overall, useful and effective product, but will likely require some DIY in order to apply it to your desktop / table top broadcasting requirements.
