Initially, it seemed good but just after 2 days of rain, the shed wood started bending, and all corners of the shed eventually dismantled.If it cant protect the sand pit from rain, what is the shed for, just for blocking sunlight?The shed isn’t designed in a way to let water falling on it to drain easily , rather it collects the water and bends the wooden frame.Hardly used for a month and broken

So I loved the concept of this sand pit as the roof slides up and down to protect the sand from cats.Ordered on 31-7-19 with expected delivery on 7-8-19. It actually reached me on 2-8-19 so I was thrilled and so excited to get this built.It was relatively easy to build on my own as the wood is very soft and I only needed assistance with the tarpaulin across the roof.The base of this sandpit is only a plastic sheet which is fine if you plan on leaving the sandpit where it is once filled (I considered this carefully before filling with 8 bags of sand). Then within 1 week we had some rain, not heavy, but enough to pool on the roof despite the slight slope. Due to the pooling this then caused the centre beam to bow and then snap in half. I contacted the manufacturer and they advised that this product is not suitable to be left out in the rain! This is meant to be an outdoor sandpit and the manufacturers response was 'unfortunately as mentioned in the manual by the manufacturer, the item cannot stay outdoors in case of rain. Therefore we cannot offer any guarantee in this case.'I was not happy with this as the manual also stated not to sit or stand on the table so I questioned how as a customer I am supposed to know which pieces of the manual we are meant to follow. I also questioned how I would be expected to move the sandpit in and outdoors for every use and was not given an answer, just that it cannot be stored outdoors in case of rain.To me that means that this product is completely inappropriate and not fit for purpose. I don't understand how any manufacturer can expect a simple household family to be able to assemble and disassemble this product every time we want to use and and where they expect the sand to be stored.The concept of this product is good however the actual completed item is not fit for purpose. I wish I had taken more notice of the other reviews. I only had this product for 1 week and it broke (yes we could have easily fixed it by purchasing some more wood however for the cost of the product and for it to break so soon I was not happy to do this. I contacted the manufacturer for a full refund which I was given 10 days after the item was returned.I would not advise anyone to buy this product as it is a lot of money to waste on something that doesn't work.

Very easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear and the wood comes with numbers printed on them so easy to put together. Only took me an hour 😂. Wasn’t sure how much sand to put in so bought 5 bags of 15kg sand and put it all in. But even four would have been enough. But my grandkids absolutely love it.

Bought for my grandson’s 3rd birthday and he loves it but not quite as much as his 10 month old twin brother and sister-plenty of room for all 3 plus toys with the added safety of the sun screen. I didn’t put it together but it must have been easy to do because my son in law didn’t swear at me! Like the rounded plastic corners! Point to note-we found 10 month old girls like to eat sand....nothing to do with the product but if you’re reading this then you’re looking to buy a sandpit. The base is just a membrane which will stop damp in and sand out but this was taken into account when it was positioned in a permanent situation

This sandpit looks lovely and roomy, but is poor quality. The wood is very weak and has jsnapped after an evening of heavy rain, and the tarpaulin that comes with it isnt attached the to base in any way so sand slips out the bottom. I also can't lift the lift on my own because you have to hold either side and lift slowly otherwise it gets atuck. Really disappointed considering the cost of this and regret not buying a cheaper more durable one.

Poor quality.Bits of the wood fell off after just a few weeks.The top bar that holds the roof on is flimsy and a bit of rain makes it snap.On complaining, I was told that is was meant to be moved inside in poor weather. Hardly practical.The roof looks like it comes down to cover the sandpit on the photos but in reality this simply doesn’t work.Bits of the wood splintered and had to be sellotaped.The base isn’t secure , so any movement means the sand simply comes out of the bottom.Shame as it could have been a great product.

Fantastic quality wood, only downside was that there is no bottom, or sandpit cover, so you need your own. Be prepared to build it, as turns up as a pile of wood lol but it's fairly easy. Instructions in English would be nice, overall happy with the quality, thanks :)

Initially we thought it was a good buy. Just like any flat pack to put together. The cover at the top is super flimsy and didn’t last long, there isn’t a bottom in it either which is a nightmare when you want to get rid of the sand.
