QCEsUSB C to HDMI Adapter, Supports Nintendo Switch, Samsung Dex Mode, 4K Resolution, TV

I bought this for the sole purpuse of activating DEX on my Note8, now that Samsung has updated DEX to support off-brand devices. The photo in the review is a screenshot I took, using the native DEX environment, and it works flawlessly with my 4K Vizio TV, and a Logitech keyboard and mouse combination. With the addition of a bluetooth gaming controller, one can play full-screen games in either DEX or screen mirroring with ease, AND since this dock has Power Delivery, the phone stays charged while being used in DEX mode, my Note8 charges faster than it discharges, and when in screen mirroring or just plugged in doing nothing, the phone charges with Quick Charge 3.0 speeds, thanks to the original Samsung Quick Charge power adaptor that came with the phone. All in all, this is a solid performer, and worth every single cent spent on it.

Update: company refunded me money and updated item description, removing switch comparability. Amazing customer support 5 stars.Doesnt work as advertized.Samsung DeX with Galaxy S9 works fine but it didnt work with my Nintendo switc i.p.oh no matter what I tried.

Works great for Samsung Note 20 but does not work for Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite does not support USB C to HDMI adapter

so at first i though it looked like a cheap china made product, when i removed it from the box, there were no instructions and immediately felt the weight of this and knew that it was not a poor quality product. I Can verify 100% this does work for the samsung galaxy note 10+ for dex mode. in fact im using it now. To use this product in dex mode you need to supply power to the usbc female adaptor. place an hdmi plug in the hdmi recepticle and connect it to a monitor or tv. then you either need a usb keyboard/mouse combo, a bluetooth keyboard/mouse combo or a powered usb hub. the rest ill leave to you but once you plug your phone in, it should automatically start dex. if it doesnt you did something wrong. to use this with windows 10 you can simply use a USBC to USB cable you do not need this device.UPDATE... After just three months this device completely quit working. I do not recommend this for any type of consistent usage. I did notice that during operation especially with different HDMI sources it would cut out in the middle of operation and was definitely not considered stable.

Worked great for the Nintendo switch

The adapter worked fine on my galaxy S10. I needed this due to my screen being shattered so I paired it with a BT keyboard, & connected a mouse via the USB A input built in.performed well in my opinion, Samsung DEX also was ok. The Male C connector on the product was quite stiff, & I didnt actually expect to be moving it around so much due to me having to sometimes unplug the HDMI, then press windows key+W in order to enter into DEX mode which I had to find out online after extensive searching why it wasnt working for me at first.So if you need this for the same purpose as me, & it doesnt promptly come on after installing, you might need to try the above steps. Due to so much movement, it unfortunately only lasted a little over a month for me. It wasnt expensive, so I didnt have high expectations of it. I might instead just go with the manufacturer's (Samsung) DEX cord which is a bit pricey, but highly recommended for durability & reliability.As for now, the item can in fact register the inputs, but no video output unless I sit there for 20 minutes playing with the 2" male C input & constantly connect & disconnect the HDMI cord. (I've tried other cords too of different lengths & brands) with no avail. It should be perfect if you only need it to cast to your TV screen, smart or oldschool as long as you have a HDMI input built into it.

It connects a USB C to HDMI and 1 USB A port, as well as female USB C for using to power the device you connect to the USB C.I use this on a Samsung Tablet to run the Dex app on my HDMI monitor and with it I connect as expected. Connect a Mouse or keyboard to the USB A port and it keeps my device from discharging,The ONLY critique would be that the cable to the USB C is thick and doesn't bend very well. This may cause others to need to route their cables with some consideration or else risk crimping and subsequently damaging the cable. This is not worthy of costing a star on my rating as I know this i inherent of most cables and it's just a matter of knowing what you want to do.Well worth the money here and I definitely would buy again if it were to ever need replacement
