This medallion features beautiful craftsmanship.I admit that I am a little concerned about the hoop by which the medallion is attached to the rope that goes around your neck. At the joint where that hoop touches the rest of the medallion, there seems to be a potential for stress, and therefore breakage. A better system would have been a small hole in the top of the medallion through which a separate little hoop could be run. That hoop could connect to another hoop in the perpendicular direction; and that hoop could connect to the rope.But that is speculative. So as of right now I can give this fine piece of jewellery a top rating.
