Revelations of Divine Mercy: Daily Readings From the Diary of Blessed Faustina Kowalska

People, this is a must read book. I highly recommend it. It outlines the story of a poor and humble Polish Nun and how she became the Apostle of Mercy to Jesus and is an outstanding Saint. I have been glued to this book and have changed my attitude towards my everyday life and how i reflect this on everyone I meet; on how I treat my neigbours. I have come to know that life is not just being a 'good' me but it's all about how I go about helping those in need, but in particular those that are sick, the lonely, the dying, those that have lost faith, those that are confused and hurting and suffering.This book is not only about the life and Visions of Saint Faustina - this book is also a tool on how to get close to Jesus and receive his graces and Mercy by practising the examples of the Polish Saint - that is, to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. (After all - this is what Jesus told her)I Believe by reading this book you will become to know that our Divine Master, Jesus Christ is our answer to all our sufferings and tribulations and offcourse our Joys as well.How lucky are those who get their hands on this book - definately a must read.

I have been getting more and more into The Divine Mercy Devotion that Jesus gave to Sr. (now St.) Faustina in the 1930's. I have the smaller pamphlet which is excellent and explains the history, has the chaplet, novena, and additional prayers. I bought the Diary and have to admit I had a difficult time understanding it because St. Faustina wrote each day her thoughts and the things that Jesus told her; I gave up. When I saw this book, I loved the layout and it is a year's worth of quotes from the Diary plus each month has a theme. It explains the Diary and I can make sense of it. I am finally understanding and getting much more out of the Diary thanks to this very well written book. I highly recommend this for anyone who is thinking of reading the Diary but isn't a theologian. This helps make so much more sense of Divine Mercy and I love it!

It is so hectic to try to find a way to pray in the busy world, and to deepen one's prayer life. This particular book takes the overwhelmingly thick St. Faustina Diary and breaks it into manageable, daily-possible, bite-sized chunks. This is helpful to someone wanting to read the Diary of St. Faustina (but doesn't have time), but to also someone who wants some inspiration to start off their day... so that they can contemplate the messages throughout the day!

I have this book, I bought it as a gift. The more I can give to people, is rewarding for me, to let others know about "The Divine Mercy" of sweet Jesus. In it, it has a reading from St. Faustina's diary, which I have too. I also bought the diary and gave gave it as a gift a few times, plus my own. In here is a reading for everyday, taken from St. Faustina's diary.

I just love this! I recommend it!I really just read through and skip the dates! Lol It is really very easily readable and just great relatable chunks grouped together. I highly recommend it to know the Divine Mercy even more! Good book!

I've only had the book for a few weeks, but it has been such a great tool in my prayer life. It only takes a few minutes a day to read the daily reflection and pray the monthly prayer. It is the first book that has been able to get me into a daily-prayer routine and I feel much more peaceful as I begin each day. The beginning of the book talks about Blessed Faustina Kowalska and her story, which was good because I wasn't well informed on her before. Very inspiring and moving.

The revelations are soul searching and inspiring. This is the highlight of everyday and helps me to direct my energy towards a positive life working for eternity with our Lord. It also helps me to realize how painful life can be at times but with faith, the mercy of the Lord is always present.

For anyone wanting to grow closer to the Lord, this is a excellent book, with daily readings and prayers, that help us on our journey thru this life.
