After being without air conditioning for almost three weeks, we were ecstatic when a friend installed this motor and the temperature inside our house in Las Vegas dropped from 90-something degrees to a comfortable 72 degrees.The motor is very quiet while running, I don't even notice it at all.It is strongly suggested that when replacing this motor, to also replace the capacitor. If the capacitor is working anything less than 10% of its normal output, it should be replaced. If not, the motor could be forced to work harder and burn out very quickly. (This information can be found on the manufacturer's website.)Needless to say we're all very happy, now we're all very cool.

Quiet and smooth
10 years old and finally needed a new one.

A/C motor replacement
Looked up the specs on this and they matched our A/C motor which was making noise. Husband had to cut the shaft because it was too long, and now the A/C works perfectly, with no noise.
