Good product
But higher cost than others that work as well. You can’t go wrong with these though

Could be improved, but still an EXCELLENT feeder!
This feeder is even better than I hoped: it's the EASIEST feeder to clean I have ever found - even easier than my Aspects Humzinger feeder. And no sharp parts; it's safe for the birds.I was worried that the longer port holes would make it hard for smaller birds to reach the nectar, but I got a pair of binoculars and observed smaller hummers successfully drinking. (I can see the nectar rippling when they drink.) It seems their tongues are much longer than I realized, and they have no trouble using this feeder. In fact, they love it. I have it hanging a few feet away from my trusty old Humzinger, and both feeders are equally popular. This feeder is also big enough, and stable enough, that multiple birds are more likely to share and use it together. Another thing I like is that the lid fits snugly onto the saucer.I've been a loyal fan of the Humzinger feeder, but ordered this when I couldn't find it, and now this feeder is my new favorite. HOWEVER...one problem is the hook. It wasn't machined correctly and it's hard to screw into the saucer, and it hangs crooked. Hoping I can reach the manufacturer and call attention to this flaw, because it's very important and if they fix it, they'll have the best feeder on the market.Even with the bad hook, (see my photo of it hanging crooked), I'm still glad I bought it because if the hook breaks, I'll build a stand for it or hang it some other way. It's such a great feeder that I'll go to the trouble of sinking a 4x4 piece of wood in the ground to set the feeder on.In case anyone has wasp problems, I just discovered that putting peppermint oil near the feeders does a good job of keeping wasps and bees away. Don't put any oil directly on the feeder, but just smear it on window frame or a nearby decoration, and it works wonders. I got a little bottle from health food store. Just wear gloves when you apply it because it's hurts your skin. Anyway, I do still recommend this feeder and I hope they fix the crummy hook!! Glad I bought it, it's helping me easily feed a lot of hummingbirds all at once and keep them stocked with sparkling clean nectar.

Crooked feeder
I have been using these feeders for many years and highly recommend. I usually replace 3 every 2-3 years as the sun is not friendly to them which is expected. I just recently received a new one but it has an issue. The receptacle where the hanging rod screws in is crooked, at about a 5-8 degree angle. This causes the feeder to be slanted. After half a day, one side has no food so only 2 feeding holes are available. I can’t return it now. I may just contact the seller and will update this post

Finally a leak proof feeder!!!
I finally found a leak proof hummingbird feeder! Yes, this is the one. Very easy to open. Seen someone complaining it was difficult so they must have purchased a defective one. I put this up the same place my leaky, 28 ounce feeder was and was worried they might not understand how to get the nectar but within minutes after putting it up this morning they all started coming to it. I have probably around 8 to 10 hummers. They seem more active in the evening and even during a light rain. They like to dive bomb each other and fan out their tails making a chirping chatter which is often quite funny to watch since they can fly and manuver so well. I truly think this is the perfect feeder so far and only wish it was slightly larger. No doubt I will need to refill this often but that's easy enough. Since it's so easy to clean why anyone would need a dishwasher is beyond me. Too lazy I suppose to take 1 to 2 minutes to rinse it out and the clear, bottom reservoir is totally open when the red,top is off. Very pleased with this purchase. I never give 5 stars but this time it deserves it. At least my opinion. I've been feeding hummingbirds for years. My ratio they like best is 3 to 1. So 6 cups of spring water and 2 cups of white sugar. I do boil my water just so it dissolves better but take it off the burner as soon as it begins to boil. Allow it to cool then put it in a container in the fridge. Refill as needed. Easy....

Very nice
I ordered these 4 years ago. They were very inexpensive compared to others of a similar nature. They lasted about 3 years. The middle hanging metal bar rusted out and the plastic lid deteriorated from constant exposure to the sun. Still not bad compared to the other higher priced one's.

Fairly sturdy and good volume
As others have noted, the hanger screws into the top. This is just hard plastic so I believe that some people may be cross-threading the screw, which is very easy to do. Once that happens, it will make the connection much weaker especially if the feeder is getting blown around in the wind. If that connection does become compromised, it could probably be fixed with Sugru or an outdoor adhesive. The volume of the unit is 12 fluid ounces which provides plenty of nectar for our birds before it needs to be changed due to being in the hot weather for several days.

Audubon's hummingbird feeder has improved since the 2015 model
When I first reviewed this feeder in 2015, I gave it only two stars, primarily because the red coloring faded over a single summer. I was also disappointed that rainwater could get in so easily. But after raccoons destroyed our two feeders this past Spring, I decided to give these feeders another try, as our hummingbirds use them daily, and I bought protector domes to hang over them to keep the rain away. I'm happy to report that we kept both feeders out for the whole hummingbird season here in NY this summer, and neither of the red lids faded at all. So maybe Audubon does listen to customer feedback. Whatever the case, these are straightforward feeders, and our hummingbirds love them. The holes are just large enough for the occasional oriole to visit, as well. So I have upgraded my review to four stars. Just hang yours out of reach of raccoons and squirrels; the plastic can be snapped easily by a foraging animal. Oh--and keep your hummingbird feeders well away from bushes or anyplace where a praying mantis can jump to the feeder and attack the birds. It turns out praying mantises do in fact kill hummingbirds if they get the chance.
