Great capo
I really like the G7th capos. They have a small footprint so you can place your fingers right where you need to fret without the capo hindering your fretting. I've used a few other capos but I like the thinness of this capo. I have 2 now for both of my ukes. I even persuaded a guitar player to try one and he's hooked on this brand now too.

More Banjo that Uke
Doesn't fit any of my Ukuleles at the 1st fret. Just doesn't clamp down far enough. Ukes tested are Martin Tenor TK2, Lanikai Tenor, Kohala Soprano, and a Kala Tenor. It is a well built Capo, but only for larger folk instruments like banjos.

Not for the 8 string
This product is rated great for 4 string ukes; however, I saw no reviews for the 8 string uke. I had a lot of string buzz and returned it.

very good
Not for fast changes, but very solid connect.

Three Stars
Very nice capo. Did not fit a concert ukulele. Too large.

Works on a very narrow uke neck
This is a quality capo that is very easy to use. Quick on and off. Even pressure on the strings so minimal tuning problems.

ウクレレで使用する為に購入したのですが、私のウクレレMartin T1Kでは全く使用できません。これはウクレレ用と言ってはいけないものではないでしょうか?商品にはバンジョー用と書かれていました。

Not bad - but could be better (see an alternative)
Slightly disappointing- not that light (heavier than the Planet Waves banjo capo)- slightly curved, just enough to leave centre course rattling (on a flat-fingerboard 10-string mandolin) unless VERY firmly tightened- quite difficult to move; when tightened as above, there is very limited change of "mouth" width when the back lever is flipped - so much so I have to unscrew to take it off the instrument, so I cannot keep it "adjusted"PS I got in touch with Nick Campling at G7 - very helpful indeed. At his suggestion I am now using one of his "Heritage" capos, a smaller one, which is very neat & unobstrusive & works well on the flat fingerboard, (but is not "instanltly adjustable" with a adjustment-knob on the back of the neck)

Elegant capo
Its a good looking well made capo, it works fine, you can fit it with one hand and it is quite light weight, I am very happy with it, If you watch out it can be bought on Amazon for £20, although I paid £25 which is a bit on the high side compared to Shubb which also is a very good capo, if not so good looking. Otherwise five stars! The screw adjuster is good if you do not wish the strings to go up too much in pitch and make you have to re-tune to suit other musicians who may not need a capo.

Over rated
The adjustment did not allow the capo to exert sufficient pressure on the strings of either my Irish Bazouki or my banjo. After a week it essentially fell apart. Not impressed.

Best banjo capo I've owned
I bought this capo mainly for my 5-string banjo, for which it's great. The pressure on the strings is adjustable so that you can put the capo on and off without tuning issues. I then discovered it's a great partial capo for my guitar and also works well on mandolin. Build quality and looks are also excellent.
