Q: I have a 2" diameter polished chrome faucet fitting that I need to remove. Will this work?

There’s a very good possibility it will. The strap will probably not scratch the faucet. The problem will be how thin the wall is and how tight it is. The faucet can bend before it breaks free. For best results, review the instructions. This thing is strong. The long handle gives you a good leverage. Breaks things loose easily but it’s easy to over tighten during tightening.

Q: Is it made in usa or china? the information says china???

The one I have called "Model No. 2" with part number 31350 has a label on the end of the box that says "Made in USA". Additionally it has "USA" molded into the aluminum handle as seen in the product picture. Mina has an aluminum colored handle.

Q: Can I use this for a fuel filter and oil filter on diesel truck?

Yes depending on the diameter of the filter. I work on 45 and 50 litter Cummins, 3512 Caterpillar engines, semis, and pickups. We use these strap wrenches on all the filters. Engine oil, fuel, hydraulic, coolant, power end filters (220w gear oil), air dryer, and all of the breather filters. They range in 2" diameter to around 7". It also comes in handy holding pulleys still and when working with pipe. Amazon has a lot better price than the tool truck and another bonus is you can get replacement straps.
