not often these days things work as advertised, but this has done the trick so far. pressed 5 disks ranging from 4.5 to 7 grams each and didn't have an issue. put parchment against each end and had no problem getting the disk to release. have heard of people having issues with presses breaking but patience is a virtue, i think they may have been trying to totally tighten it in one go. tighten it down initially and then come back every hr or so and tighten it up a little more till it's as tight as it will get by hand and it is ready. let off the pressure a bit and then the end will unscrew so you can push the disk out with the press. clean press between batches with rubbing alcohol to remove residue and keep action smooth. i'll do 6 to 8 hour press and it comes out perfect every time

Ok problem with metal shavings even after about 20 uses

This product is sturdy, easy to use and easy to clean. I use this to press tobacco. I can reasonably fit upwards of 4 to 5 ounces or tobacco at a time.If you are new to pressing tobacco blends, this is a great product to begin with.

I have a smaller version of this type of press and like it but it is seriously small. I'm so glad I found this larger one. I can easily get 60+ grams into it without overloading it and I'm sure I could get more if I tried. What a time saver. I wish they made an even bigger one.Well constructed and heavy duty.

They should give small discs of wax or parchment paper with it. Pollen sticks to the ends and the sides pretty bad. Works as intended.

This was great! I was very pleased with the outcome, I don't see any metal shavings. To make the whole process easier I cut two circles of parchment paper and put them on either end of the pollen, prevents mess and prevents it from sticking. Also the whole process doesn't take more than 15 minutes

Not bad was Xmas gift to someone but I was disappointed that it didn't have the G-Leaf laser engraved on the main cylinder like it shows in the photos, considering that it doesn't come with any type of box. But otherwise is as just as advertised

Solid and hefty. 1in is larger tha youd think. Coulda used .5" but still good

Good little press i also used a vice but went easy on it it will bend much better then the other ones

weak.just less than a month lather the threads are shot.Where is a stainless steel one?
