Great Fit, Solid Support, and Impressive Value
This is my second pair of NORTIV 8 boots, and I’m honestly impressed. I wear these for 8-12 hours a day, 40-60hrs a week. They fit well, are surprisingly comfortable right out of the box, and offer great ankle support. They’ve handled wet conditions without any issues, and cleaning them is quick and easy. For the price, the quality is better than expected—I’ve worn name brands that cost three times as much, and these hold up just as well, if not better. That said, the paint on the metal lace holders started coming off pretty early, and the laces are longer than they need to be, all minor. Also, I found that going a half size down from my normal shoe size gave a better fit. Overall, solid boots I’d definitely recommend.

Nice hiker. Good stability and fit.
I am very pleased with my purchase of these hikers. I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and have problems with my feet, (i.e. - plantar fasciitis, swollen tarsus, hammer toe, etc.). Finding a comfortable pair of shoes is hard to do given my current condition's with my feet. It seems like most shoes these days "at the store's" are too narrow. Even the ones marked as Wide width still tend to be too tight. I came across these shoes while doing a search for extra wide width hikers. I haven't had much luck ordering shoes online, but I was desperate for a new pair of shoes. These were an online special being sold for a good price. They seemed like a good pair of shoes and had good reviews, so I thought I'd take a chance and order a pair. I was glad I did because these were comfortable on my feet right out of the box. The width of the shoes was perfect, and I was happy that I finally found a pair of hikers that weren't too tight in the toe and Tarsus region's of my feet. Even with a little thicker pair of socks they still fit well. The insoles are pretty comfortable also which was another Plus. I usually have to buy extra cushioned insoles for shoes, but I don't think I will have to with these for a while. I am limited on the amount of time I spend on my feet due to arthritic pain, but these shoes were comfortable for me even after a few hours of wearing them.I have never tried this brand of hiker before, but I am very pleased with the construction and the way they fit and feel.Buying clothing and shoes online is something I usually don't do, but I think I finally got lucky with this purchase. I will definitely buy the Nortiv 8 brand again if they continue to make their shoes in the extra wide, I believe 4E?, width.I might even order another pair NOW for the future. If you are looking for a good pair of hikers in an extra wide width, I can honestly say give these a try. I don't think you will be disappointed. Happy Trails!P.S. - They even came with an extra pair of laces.

Great alternative at Great price.
Fits well on my narrow foot. Sturdy and comfortable. Great for my weak ankles. They don't breathe as well as i would like, but still a great shoe.

Great quality and comfort for the price!
I bought two pairs of these for my teenage sons for a via ferrata in the Dolomites. I encouraged them to wear them often to break them in but they only took one two-hour hike before our trek. Via Ferrata is a combination of hiking and steep mountain climbing. They hiked 5 days, about 5 hours a day in these boots and had zero foot issues. No blisters or discomfort. They were also impressed with the waterproofing. I’m stunned at the affordability and quality. I’m used to spending at least $200 for hiking boots. Also says made in the USA! Well done.

Pleasantly Surprised
Final review: these boots have finally reached the end. 7 months and both soles are separating to the point of being unwearable. In fairness, I'm tough of footwear. These boots have done as as well as boots 3x the price. I used to wear wolverine's but I'd get 6-8 months out of them before sole separation. Why spend $160 for a pair of boots when the end result will inevitably be the same?Others who use these as actual hiking boots will probably get a lot more life out of them than I did. I work my farm in these boots. Daily. They did just fine and it didn't cost me $160+.Overall, I'd recommend them. In fact, I'm ordering another pair today.4 month review:I am still impressed with these boots. I'm a farmer and wrangling livestock requires sturdy footwear and I demand comfort. I wear these boots every day and they've been well used. Between mud, manure, rocks, getting stomped on and normal wear, these boots have taken what I've dished out. I would recommend to anyone who asked.Original review:Fit well. Good traction on ice, believe it or not. The rubber sole seems softer than other boots and that makes walking in icy conditions less treacherous. They are water resistant and pretty warm with a good pair of socks. Only thing I'm not fond of is the lace eyelets, but it's not a deal killer for me.Hopefully they'll last.

Good fit, light weight, and comfortable.
For me they are just the ticket. They are light weight and comfortable. For working around the house and yard work they do just fine. I can't recommend them for heavy work like metal fabrication and welding but I think that's beyond the scope for what they were intended to do plus they are soft toe. But if you're looking for work shoes for your average run of the mill stuff you'll be satisfied. I wear a 10 regular, I ordered a 10 regular and they fit true to form. For the price point I can give a good recommendation on them.
