Time to Switch
I ordered the switch about 4 months ago and it is still holding up pretty good. No problems at all and its not that i took extra care of it considering that there are no service centers of Nintendo in india. The box had letters printed in Japanese so I think that it may be Japanese version but I'm not sure. However I would say if you want to play games both at docked to your tv and on the go this is the best option but if you only want stationary gaming devices then go for ps4 or xbox because they have better graphics if you want to play on the go you can buy the light version which costs less and is travel friendly too.

Awesome
I finally played the Nintendo Switch for the first time on October 27th 2017, so I'm slightly late to the party. I say this as someone who owns both an Xbox One and PS4 and games pretty regularly. My first impression of the console was, wow, this thing is little. The joy cons are actually tiny. I'm a full size adult. But I slid the joy cons onto the sides of the tablet portion of the console and powered it up, created a Nintendo account (on my phone), signed in and did an update to the console and controllers. Neither took long. I never once used the touch screen and it took all of a minute for me to acclimate to the size and shape of the controls. It feels good even with full size hands which was surprising.Next I popped in the physical copy of Super Mario Odyssey that I preordered alongside my new console. I can't believe how tiny the game cards are, even smaller than 3DS cards. Anyways, the game was ready within a minute or 2, which is a huge relief from the long installs on a lot of PS4/Xbone games. The game fired up fast and runs great, and I played it for quite a while in portable mode before realizing, hey, I could be playing this on my TV.That's a big point, because the portable mode feels almost completely natural with no restrictions. This is truly the game changing feature it's marketed as. Playing the game with the entire system in your hands makes the Switch's versatility a huge added benefit vs. other consoles. The screen looks fantastic and definitely not too small. Granted you're dealing with significantly less technical power than other consoles, but the Switch makes up for it with polish. Everything I've done so far has worked excellent, and I can't wait to explore more of the Switch library.I never imagined that coming from gaming on the big screen to this would feel so good, but the Nintendo Switch is probably now the easiest recommendation I could make to anyone looking for a new game console.

It's a Nintendo console, it's good without a doubt
Why you should Switch! The Switch is Nintendo latest gaming console. What differentiate the Switch from its competitors is its portability. Think of the Switch as a powerful hybrid gaming console on the go. The Switch is really light weight, in terms of physical weight and of its software capability. The are some features that the console lacks (no internet browser and no media player, why Nintendo?), still it is a gaming beast. Since Those features are more of a software issue, Nintendo can always push out a future update which takes care of those problems. We've just recently receives an update (8.0) to transfer save file. So yeah. OK, on a full charge I can get about 2-3 hours on the tablet playing Fornite. Using handheld mode the tablet is lock at 720p @30 for most games and 1080p @30 while docked. What comes in the box is the tablet, the docking system, a USB type C AC adapter, two joy-cons, HDMI cable, joy-con grip, joy-con straps. Although you can use the joy-con as controller (with or without the joy-con grip) you would be better off buying an official Nintendo pro controller. Because A) they're really small. B) They have batteries. C) Not the most comfortable after hours of used. While you're at it, you might as well buy an SD card. It does not come with one. I downloaded just Fornite and Nintendo Entertainment System so far, I'm only left with 20.2 GB. Games like MK11 can take up to 7 GB and not to mention future updates. Now, why should you Switch you may be asking? Where else can you play games such as Mario maker 2, Zelda, Donkey Kong, bayonetta 3 and classic Nintendo games? As for online, well it is not that great at the moment. Fornite is free online and requires no subscription. To play other games only with friends then you'll have to pay. Good news is, it is really cheap. From $3.99/month to $34.99/1 year for a family plan. Currently, if you want to chat with other players on most games that supports it, then you have to use an app on your mobile device. This is not really a problem considered, these days, people are always on their smartphones anyway. My verdict, I would totally recommend this gaming console because no where else can you enjoy playing classic games like Mario Kart or Smash Bros with friends and family. Plus, you're NOT tethered to the TV. You can be anywhere playing your favorite game or watching YouTube without interruption. If someone wants to watch their favorite show on the TV.Pros:PortableLightweightFrom NintendoUnique gamesExclusivesInexpensiveFree games with NES onlinePowerfulResponsiveFamily orientedGaming on the goYouTubeHuluSimple User InterfaceCons:Only 32GB internal storageLack some featuresMobile app for chatno real controller or USB type cableNo NetflixOverall, if you are planing on buying a switch then what are you waiting? You will not be disappointed. Sure, it has its flaws but the goods outweighed the bad. If you really wants to experience gaming on a new level then now is the time to SWITCH.

Wow
I had my doubts about the Nintendo switch even though i am a fan of Nintendo. I waited for a year to find out if the console had any flaws, although the only flaw i found with the console was the battery. This was not such an issue as the battery was efficient enough for normal games which lasted for 4-6 hrs and if the game is graphic intense it would last for like 3 hrs. But other than that the console is a breeze to operate and maintain. One of the best features of the console is portability. Suppose you play a game in docked mode and there is a sudden electricity cut the console just needs to be undocked and you can continue laying your game without loosing any data. There is a huge array of games available for this console now so its definitely an awesome purchase. I did order the console from Amazon from a vendor who seemed to have very little positive reviews but i had no issues at all. I received a brand new sealed console which was packed really well and the product was delivered before time. Overall i am a happy customer and i would recommend this console to game lovers of all ages.
