If you are very active. This is for you.
Finally! A pair of earbuds that lasts! So I've purchased a variety of quality bluetooth earbuds. The Jaybirds in specific I had high hopes for. But all of them seem to fail to meet my demands as an amateur body builder. eventually water gets in, and they refuse to charge. These ear buds have survived all the wear and tear, and keep on going with strong crisp sound.Sound:If you are an audio-phile, these probably aren't the headphones for you. But I would suggest that buying "active" headphones shouldn't be the pair you use for your audiophile needs. These take a beating and continue to give solid sound. The bass is almost non existent. But the mids are clear and the highs are crisp.Durability:Like I mentioned above, these have taken a beating. From long runs drenched in sweat, to the battles of being in my pocket, to lifting, to rain to the water fountain. These have never given me a single issue. I need a pair of headphones that could take a beating. And these have delivered.Battery Life:The battery is so good that I frequently forget they need to be charged at all. I have gone entire weeks on one charge, and I gym every single day for at least an hour. So I have been highly impressed with these. The only down side is that the "battery low" warning doesn't always play before the headphones die.Comfortable Fit:I have small ears, so these stay put in my ears just fine without the wings. If I didn't have small ears I would probably remove a star for the wings. They fall off easily, I lost the ones that fit my ears about a week in. I would suggest super gluing them on. They aren't as comfortable as the jaybirds wings, but I assume they get the job done.Range:With my galaxy S4 the range was choppy. Now that I have moved to the Galaxy S6 Edge which has noteable bluetooth range problems, these have gotten worse. As long as my phone is in my pocket, or in the treadmill cupholder I am fine. But don't expect to leave your phone in the locker room like you can with the jaybirds.Who are these for:If you need a pair of active headphones that provide loud, clear sound, are actually durable, and are a comfortable fit. These are for you. I have multiple Photive products and they have become my go-to provider for wireless audio accessories.

I have a few issues with these buds...
I wanted a pair of Bluetooth earbuds to use while I work (cleaning). So I got these in the hopes that they would work... I was deeply disappointed. Here's why:1 - The range on these buds is atrocious. If you have them on and have your phone in your pants pocket, the signal will cut out. The only way I got around this was to sew a pocket in the top of the back of a couple exercise tops for my phone, so it sat between my shoulder blades. Then the signal was pretty steady, it just made it more awkward to get to my phone. If there was anything between the phone and the buds, it would cut out. Even with nothing in between, the range was only about 10 feet at best.2 - The Battery life was maybe even worse. Unlike the Photive BTH3 Bluetooth Headphones I also have, the battery life is less than advertised. I don't remember now how long they lasted new (I don't use them that often anymore), but I think it was less than 5 hours. And according to the battery indicator on my phone, they are at 30% when they start beeping telling you the battery is low (and it beeps every minute, it's quite annoying) And unlike the headphones, you cannot use them wired when the battery dies.3 - They are not terribly comfortable for my ears. I kept changing between the smallest ear tips and the "Binaural Ear tips" trying to get a more comfortable fit. And I never could get the ear stabilizers to fit comfortably for any length of time. But then, I do have small hear holes4 - The fit: They are designed for the cord to go behind your neck. The only thing is, when you wear them like that, it makes the microphone useless. No one can hear you if the mic is behind your head. When you move it so the cord is in front of your neck so people can hear you, they are no longer balanced right to stay in your ears.5 - The durability leaves something to be desired. After a relatively short time of use, the brushed metal looking bit where the stick together (where the magnet is) started to look like something was wearing off. And the battery life seems to be getting worse as time goes on6 - And the sound quality is not great. They are mediocre at best. That might not bother me so much, if it weren't for everything else one these buds that just fall so short of a good set of Bluetooth earbuds.Probably the only thing I did like about these buds was the magnetic clasp for when you aren't using them. But the shortfall of that is, I would have them cinched tighter if not for needing to have them reach around my neck. But that is less of a product shortfall I think. All being said, I would not buy these again. I just hope they can make a decent set of affordable Bluetooth buds before longI hope this will help you in your shopping experience.EDIT 9/27/16The battery life is now even worse with these ear buds. They last less than 4 hours before going dead. That isn't very long... It has gotten to the point were I don't even want to use them anymore

Great set of put on and forget headphones
These headphones are definitely worth the money.Range: The reception range could be a little better but is still within a reasonable range. I've been able to get about 10 feet away from my phone before they begin to cut outSound: The sound quality is excellent, both in calls and used as sound only headphones. I've had several pairs that when used for communications, would have low quality mics, switch to mono audio, or the other call participants complained that I sounded like I was in a metal room/canBattery Life: I've used these for about 4 hours with no signs of battery life issues.Controls: The volume and play/pause/answer buttons work rather well, my phone (One Plus One) does not acknowledge the answer button for Skype/phone calls but that is not specific to these headphones, I have the same issue with wired headphones as well.Comfort: They are light weight and, after attaching the correct sized ear clip/cushions, are very comfortable to wear. I wear glasses and can wear these without them interfering. My previous pair of Moto behind the head banded ones always caused my glasses to shift or pinched my ear against my glasses. The only time I even notice these is on the rare occasion I'm reaching for the play/pause button on the cord.Suggestions: I do wish they would report their battery life remaining to my phone though like other Bluetooth 4.0 devices do. YMMV and you may see battery life on your phone though.Bottom line these are a good set of wear and forget headphones.
