This bubble level has clear markings and is perfectly centered. Unfortunately, there is no contrast between the bubble and the surrounding fluid, making it extremely difficult to tell when the bubble is centered. See the photo comparing this one (bottom) with a more visible bubble level (top).

I am using this for my astronomy telescope tripod setup. Each time the tripod is moved the tripod must be leveled before the mount is attached. This large glass target design enables adjustment of the three tripod legs without changing the level placement. The large glass diameter provides greater precision readout.

Darker liquid color makes this a lot easier to see, and use. Very accurate and easy to store!

This level sure does help me when I mount a scope on my deer rifle....have use it for mounting and checking scope. It is a large but accurate bubble level....easy to use and easy to read....
