This spins great, looks great on my black glass table, and is all around the best thing ever.Here's an idea I had and it works well... you can balance the sphere on a couple fingertips and spin it. It looks MESMERIZING on the tips of my fingers.For what it's worth, I got the small version. It's about the size of those Chinese balls (maybe slightly bigger).This is my favorite thing ever.The first one I got was the black one. It was--and is--PERFECT.It spins like an alien ghost dancing into the walls of an ancient castle--quiet, you cannot hear it spinning.I think that's a bonus because the illusion is the lines are moving down into the table (or up from the table).So I bought a blue one, silver one, and the gold one. All the other ones.I bought them for my nephews.So far I've tried the black one, the blue one, and the silver one.The blue one is the loudest of the three I've unboxed. It's still cool, but I don't like how loud the blue one is.The silver one is very quiet, but the black one is the most quiet of all.On second thought, you probably would not even notice how loud the blue one is if you had never experienced the quietude of the black ball. You would probably say you can't hear anything when you spin the blue ball.I was not expecting this...My favorite is now the silver. I still love the black ball, but I think my new favorite is the silver one.

This is a neat fidget gadget, although it does remind me of the flying metal orb in the Hellraiser movies. All in all a neat gadget for your desk, or as a paper weight, does have some weight to it. I wouldn’t suggest this for a young kid, they could throw it.

I was looking for something to put in stockings for my co-workers. I usually like to add something playful for their desks. These little things are mesmerizing. I wish I had bought one for myself (which I just may do)

I have purchased 3 similarly sized spinner balls from different vendors on Amazon. The quality of the three was vastly different. I'm leaving this 5-star where I purchased the best of the three. The one purchased where I hope this note lands is far superior in length of spin and visual quality and feel. Given a moderate spin it continued for more than three minutes. The 2nd place spinner only spun for 59 seconds. The poorest of the three spun for 32 seconds. Weight and quality bearings are key. The one that came in second in length of spin is the only one whose bearings make noise as it spin. The best of the three is clearly a well-machined, precision object. The other two, not so much.

The stated dimensions are accurate, but the images make it seem bigger than it really is.Functions well, came quickly and unblemished. I got 2, and both were great.

I gave this to my son as a stress reliever while working at his tech support job.The ball spins smoothly in either direction and is cool to watch the spiral pattern. The directions are a hoot, quite unintentionally I'm sure.Highly Recommended!CFH

The pricision machining claimed is a bit overrated.Works as advertised, but has a very slight wobble.Fell apart after first day, but popped back together very easy.Bearing is skateboard style, but tiny in comparison.The image advertised shows much larger bearing.Very giftable, good machine work on main piece.

The media could not be loaded. Great to zone out to. Focus on it as it spins and feel your brain relax.Great color (my favorite color actually) and it spins a lot longer than you think it would given how little effort you have to put into it.
