Revell GmbH 00454 Star Trek USS Enterprise NCC 1701 Technik Plastic Model Kit with Electronics and Sound, White, 1:600

The model kit is great. All pieces are correct and present. The only disappointing thing i have to say, is the kit does not come with the glue or paints.

The media could not be loaded. A must have kit for any trekkie fan. The basic model is very well done. I have issues with the electrics. The wiring is very difficult/frustrating to fit into the main Hull and I had to cut the strut braces just to fit in the wiring and circuit board. As a result couldn't squeeze in speaker. I followed the instructions. In addition the wiring was soldered into the speaker at the wrong angle and so base couldn't be glued flush to back of deflector dish. But having completed this all bar decals, I would have placed the wiring differently. It seems like they did not test fit the electrics or board properly before releasing the kit onto the market. This is level 5 and its the first kit I have done since I was a teenager.Required basic colours etc. I didn't buy all the paints required. It actually looks really good after the fine white primer and light grey finish and clear coat. Spray prime main components first, then fit clear plastic windows, then mask off windows before final coats and lacquer, then remove masking. Wished I had some tips and guidance before I started. Happy to advise if anyone has questions. Take your time with this, don't rush it. Make sure you file down all components when you take them off the sprue. Especially the saucer window components, otherwise saucer will not fit flush and you will get light leak.Would buy and do again....

Es war ein Super Geschenk :)Große Freude wurde bereitet . Zufrieden in jeglicher Hinsicht !

Sieht soweit ganz gut aus, aber noch nicht dazu gekommen um es aufzubauen.

Das Paket war an einer Seite auf (habe es mit Tesa wieder zugeklebt) und ehrlich gesagt wirkt es, als wäre es schon ausgeräumt worden. Das finde ich bei dem Preis schon ziemlich negativ. Das Modell soll ein Geschenk sein, wenn etwas fehlen sollte, werde ich es reklamieren.

This costs quite a bit for a model which is fair enough as you get the lighting kit provided.However there are some glaring mistakes in the booklet instructions. If you follow them exactly you'll end up with all the cables for the lighting sticking out of the front of the ship and not going down the neck into the secondary hull. How such huge mistakes like this can be accepted by Revell is beyond me
