I give this product a 5 star. Granted there are high ticket brands that will outperform this unit, but for the price, this portable freezer/fridge is just what my wife and I needed.We live in a 900 square foot apartment with a small kitchen and medium sized refrigerator. We recently have been going on a mostly meat keto diet. We started to buy grass-fed meats from Butcher Box. We needed extra freezer space. This unit freezes well and is a great solution for more freezer space when you need it.It also has a 12 volt cord so that I can plug it into my RV for long boondockin'. It doesn't need a whole lot of power so it is great paired with my 400 watt solar panel system attached to my RV.Because it freezes so well, you know that it is an excellent fridge or cooler. My wife and I do allot of road trips, this bad boy keeps the cold drinks good and frosty, and when we stay at a motel that doesn't have a fridge. Well, now we have a portable fridge that keeps our perishables.The only con is that the thermostat readings are not accurate. It isn't a big deal because you simply adjust according to your personal use. It isn't difficult to monitor or change setting. Yes, this thing does well in a hot car. I've got to say, for the price this baby has been a whole lot of fun.If your not sure if a portable fridge is for you, this model is a good one to try out and see if you like living with one. Then maybe later you can save up for those more expensive models. Enjoy! :-)ps: the 42 quart is great for long trips for two (food and small meals) or short trips for 4; If all you are doing is providing cold drinks for a trip then you can easily satisfy two car loads of people. Great for grilling at a picnic in the park, you'll be able to handle a gang of people with enough hydration for the event.

This unit chills much better than a thermoelectric cooler with the same amount of power. (The control board is rated at 60 watts but it draws less power than that. If you disconnect the unit from power, it does not retain it's target temperature, but if you turn it off at it's on/off switch, it goes into standby and does. (as long as the power supply remains connected) It's not hard to set the target temp, (Tap the plus or minus keys till you get to your desired goal) Our first unit received was defective, but the seller worked with us to make it right, the replacement worked well.

For a long time I was looking for a good portable fridge for my semi truck . And finally I got one . It is Linsion 42 quarts portable fridge . It cools very fast and I set it up temp between 20 to 45 degrees. It is working perfectly in my truck. It is a 12 volt . I am glad I bought it . Thnx Amazon .

This unit is perfect for our needs. Unit is really quite, Works quickly, Actually freezes items, Well built and sturdy. Includes basket. No cons so far. Works perfectly, better then expected. Item did come without chain for lid. Emailed customer service at Linsion Products. Customer service responded in less then 24hrs and mailed out immediately. It hasn't been a full month and now the compresser is not working. Worse product ever bought.

This unit has proven to be just what we needed. We live on a sailboat and have limited power available so we needed a highly efficient unit. We set the temp to 14 degrees F and it holds 14 degrees with very little power usage. Highly recommended. For the price it can't be beat.

Got this as a gift a few years ago, and it still runs great! The temperature setting is a little funky, and takes a bit of practice to fine tune since the "shown temperature" isn't super precise, but overall, it is awesome!!

Great refrigerator freezer. I'm a truck driver and it keeps food at temp I set it to. It does have a glass top ,that I thought would be metal ,but works out ok.It originally came without basket ,but they sent one to me later. I'm very satisfied. The only thing negative I have to say is it is heavy.
