Bought the WAVLINK AC1200 as our standard Plusnet router just couldn't cope with the number of connections we needed. Just plugged it into Plusnet router (which now acts as the modem) with the ethernet cable provided and it was good to go. The instructions and user interface were fairly logical and I had no problems setting up. Like the fact that we can split devices between the 2.4G and 5G networks, and also restrict bandwidth on certain devices to ensure devices like TV and games consoles can have priority. So far it seems to cope nicely with the 30+ devices that we have connected. Like the fact that I can just plug in a USB memory stick to serve video and music files around the house. In terms of signal, it's definitely better than the Plusnet router, but there are still spots in our house that struggle .. although we do have a big house with thick stone walls.Oh, and it looks good, although perhaps too appealing for our 2 year old. All in all, very happy with it so far and think it is great value.

The fact i've had it three months and is already constantly losing signal, I have to restart it everyday because it loses signal, wi-fi cuts out many times a day so this item is not worth anything.

This product is good value, the wifi signal range is good. Bought this to replace my two Buffalo Air Stations as being in a bungalow needs a good signal and this does replace and improve what I had. This product is good value for money. Plug into your existing modem and it'll auto setup. It has its own webpage to configure settings and this is easy to do, you can restrict devices by applying a max upload/download speed it can achieve, ideal in stopping those hungry devices from taking all the bandwidth. So far so good with no issues...like it.

Bought this as a WiFi extender for my living room as had incredibly poor signal. It definitely works, I can now even connect successfully in my garden which I usually never was able to do.The only bad quality is the set up process, which whilst it is pretty easy, can get confusing when initially setting it up. But no problem! You get used to the site quickly and it becomes much easier to operate.

Great unit for the price, just remember you need a separate modem for this to function fully.

Nothing wrong with the product. A google search of a sim router showed it on Amazon. I followed the link and purchased it, only for it to arrive and it not take a SIM card. Right enough on the Amazon site ad is doesn’t mention it takes a SIM but via a search engine it does. Absolute cop out!
