Solidly made, keeps wind and rain off with the right pitch.
I've used it for one camping trip, and it's pretty good. Sturdy, and for its size and price point, fairly light and compact. Successfully keeps the rain off in at least moderate rainfall.Deducting a point because the included stakes are very poor in quality, and the ties aren't much better. The tarp itself, I would rate at 5 stars.Edit: after a few more months of use, I'm gonna say this should be five stars. The stakes are still not very good, but the tarp has kept me dry and sheltered in heavy wind and November rain.

Amazing and completely waterproof!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I don’t often write reviews but felt compelled after camping in torrential rain this past week. This rain fly is easy to set up, completely waterproof, dries fast and compacts down to almost nothing. After years of fighting with heavy plastic tarps that take up too much room and are so noisy, I was thrilled with my experience. Great product!!! It rained heavy for 3 days and not a single drop of water came through.

Good Rain Fly - Toss the Stakes
Used this as a rain fly for hammock camping. Rain fly was waterproof. It's a bit heavier due to the reflective layer, but that helped a lot while I was camping in a storm that rode in on some wind. Comes with good lengths of paracord, and the little tabs and grommets are well attached. My only complaint is that the tent stakes aren't the best quality and I bent a lot of them on first use in soft, forest humus. They also DO NOT work in gravelly or rocky areas - had to substitute tent stakes for something sturdier at a gravelly campsite (see photo). I'd recommend the rain fly with the caveat of purchasing better quality tent stakes separately.

Review after a 4 day trip to the BWCAW
I purchased this rain fly to use over my hammock. I really liked that it was a fabric rain fly and not made of poly. The tabs for tying it down seem strong enough. To be fair, I have been fairly easy on them as that was always my issue with poly tarps, any amount of decent tension and the grommets would RIP out.I did like the price of this rain fly. For a fabric tarp, it was very well priced.I find that the included ropes are a bit on the long side for the application style that I use, but all in all, it's probably best that they are so they can be used in any type of fashion. The rain fly repels water very well and when in the sun, dries quickly. A definite plus when packing up the next day.Something that I noticed was that the underside is made of a silver material. In an emergency situation, this side could be used as a signal/high visibility material for rescue personnel. If I had to choose one complaint about the rain fly, it would be that the stakes that come with it are of cheaper quality and do not stand up to a pounding when in harder soil. So I'd say be careful there or purchase higher quality ones. All in all I find this rain fly to be a great purchase.

Great Value and Easy to Use
I typically spend about 20+ nights year camping off the grid from my adventure motorcycle per year. I have recently dropped the tent and started utilizing a hammock. Until recently, I packed the tent for the unexpected thunderstorms - now I can pack the rain fly in lieu of the tent and make save on the valuable . The packed tarp is a little bit bigger and heavier than I had anticipated, but for the cost it is a great value compared to similar type products for upwards of $100. It is easy to use and should keep me dry for many of nights to come. Only complaint is that it could have been a foot longer.

Looking forward to more adventures with this tarp.
Love the lightness of this fabric, (no its not ultra light but its a great compact size for car camping) it held up nicely on its first trip out. I would like to see this with double reinforced fabric and double stitching on the corners and the center, as I'm not sure how long it will hold up for - I don't like seeing day light thru the stitching. Which I might just go ahead and add some duck tape to be on the safe side, so it really does lasts a long time.... My center pole isn't sharp but I'll prob stick a tennis ball at the end. YES, The tent stakes are absolute junk! Do yourself a favor and buy some good ones before heading out. Luckily my camping partners had some solid inexpensive ones.I really had gone back and fourth with the size and ended up getting the smaller 10' which I like off the side of the car but it wasn't large enough to wrap completely around a small 1-2 person pop up tent. It def helped keep the tent more insulated and dry. I'm debating to get the same one in the larger size or dare gamble on another more expensive brand. - For $29 All and all I'm very happy with tarp!

Wow! Made in China
Why am I not surprised? Cheap Chinese product. Three items in today's order; every item made in China. Isn't it awesome that we have an American company whose mission is to support the Chinese economy????

Great product
This good size tarp comes in an incredibly small pouch. But everything you need is in there including the tarp, guide rope and hooks. We used this tarp in somewhat windy weather ( 20-25 mph) and the grommets held. There is no sign of stress where it was tied down. I would recommend this product.

4 stars Excellent
It is fairly strong, moderataly lightweight material covering large space and water resistant. This is my 2nd one, first one I had strung up pretty hard in an open position and subjected to a strong winds, gusts and rain. It broke eventually, but it severed its purpose for a while. Given the space it covered 16m2 and the conditions it got subjected for 6 weeks. I am moderately satisfied that it would work in more sheltered wooded area, or in less gusty environment for prolonged time. And would account itself well in most weather conditions for short time.I got another one, and using it as temporary cover, here and there, so far its ok, but I knownits limits now, henceforth i know what to expect.Overall excellent product.4 stars only because i once owned a slightly smaller cover that traveled with me over many adventures and survived much the weather could throw at us. For life of me I do not remember the name or the company now, but I know that there is this gem somewhere that I would love to buy again :)
