Stopped my oil leak!
When my car started leaving puddles of oil in the garage I tried to figure out where it was coming from. I wasn't sure but I figured this was a cheap and easy thing to try. So on my next oil change, I put this in and tightened it down to 18 ft lbs like it says and that took care of my oil problem. It's really unique how they put the o-ring in the middle of the threads and I wasn't sure how well it would work. Well now I do! It works great!

Doesn't look like OEM on my Cruze, but it works.
I bought this plug to replace an OEM plug with a stripped head on my 2014 Chevrolet Cruze 2LT with the 1.4 liter turbo four. Apparently the factory oil drain plug was made out of lard, or PlayDoh, or something similar, because it stripped way too easily. But I digress...Don't panic because the bolt doesn't look like OEM. The OEM bolt has a 10mm head, this one is 17mm. However, the threads are the same, and it fits well. I was afraid it would be hard to screw into place with an o ring like that, but it isn't. Installation is super easy. It's cheaper than buying an OEM replacement from the dealership. And most importantly, no leaks so far.

No more oil leaks!
Did my first own oil change on my Elantra and after putting the factory plug back in (and making sure it was properly tightened, twice!) I still had oil leaking from the reservoir. Swapped the plug out with this one and no more leaks!

Can I say ZERO STAR?
Can I say ZERO STAR?Other than the time that I had to replace a starter five times, I have never had such a bad experience with an automotive product!I replaced my old drain plug, which is NEVER leaked, after multiple oil changes, on my 2011 Audi Q5 in 35,000 miles. This product was leaking the very first week and it was torqued with a new torque wrench to factory specs!I purchased this oil plug because I NEVER wanted to pull it out again and they said it was a vibration proof, etc. That is because the cover underneath the engine takes a long time to remove and I plan on using an oil evacuator to change my oil from now on since my oil filter is on top of the engine.Well that is out the window because now I had to remove the cover again just to see what was going on and there is a big oil patch there. Now i will put the OEM plug back which never leaked... and I thought that I was being smart... :o(I am now dripping $40 a gallon oil. Great plug.
An oil drain plug. My mechanic said this was a really great plug! I mean, you wouldn't think that a bolt would be exciting but there it is. OEM one wouldn't stop leaking after 150k miles. I expect this to last as long as the car.

Works well, does the job.
When I purchased my car the drain plug had very stretched threads. I replaced it but it never threaded in that well afterwards. I tried a thread chaser with limited results, rather than replace the pan I decided to try a different drain plug. It worked well and tightened up fine.

Bolted to my MazdaSpeed - seems to seal well.
Lost my old drain bolt during rebuild process - this one seemed like a nice upgrade - bolted onto my Mazda as stated. No leaks after a month of driving.
