Blood Pressure Check
I originally had a monitor that all you had to do was insert one finger in it and it gave a reading, I'm not sure how acruate the readings were, my Doctor said their not very reliable. Anyway after years of use it finally burned out and I bought this wrist monitor, I don't like it as much as the finger one and it seems like sometimes either I don't get it in the right place on my wrist or not held heart high, but it won't give me a reading and will recycle. Recently I took my reading which was normal but when I got to my Doctor my BP was very high, so they told me to give myself a 5 day reading at home and then bring the reading and the monitor to the Doctor's office which I did, their reading on their equipment was different (higher) then my reading that morning, but the second time with their equipment the reading came down and at the same time I took mine with my monitor and I didn't see a lot of difference. I think they just want to praise their equipment to try to tell us patients that only when they do medical stuff it's accurate. For me it works and gives me a ball park reading, I'm satisfied.

Value and Accuracy
The Wristech Blood Pressure Monitor works better than expected. I was pleasantly surprised at the accuracy, and the low price. I was able to purchase mine for less than $20.00. I liked it so much, I brought one for a friend. Although, I've never purchased a blood pressure monitor, I decided to try this one because of the reasonable price, and the postive reviews it got. I've used more expensive blood pressure monitors before, and the Wristech BP Monitor is not only simple to use, but it's also more comfortable, and equally as accurate as the more expensive models. The quality of the construction seems pretty solid. The automatic shutoff feature is a plus. It turns off in less than a minute. Being able to track 3 separate users makes this perfect for families who want to keep a log for up to 3 people. For me, the Wristech Blood Pressure Monitor was a very good purchase. I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

Great little product for the price. (or so I thought at the time)
This product is easy to use and easy to read. There are 3 memory banks. It says on the package that it also detects irregular heart rhythm. I think it was also very reasonably priced. I've used it probably 8 times now and have had no trouble with any part of it. It is easy to set up also.UPDATE. I bought this in July 2013 to replace one I had used for 4 years. The previous one worked for 4 years before dying. This one did not even last 4 months! It lasted 2 months and I am not satisfied with it at all. Machines like this should last at least 2 years. I'll not buy this next time I'll look for something that is not a waste of my money.Update: It seems to work sometimes and not other times. I am not sure if I am getting a correct reading.

Nice unit easy to use and carry around. Highly recommend.
Well I was looking for an easy to use and easy to transport around unit to check my BP with and when I saw this one I was very interested. I researched and found that there were good reviews on it unlike other wrist BP monitors and all this one advised was that I kept the monitor at heart level and didn't move while the unit was testing. I bought one for home and one for the office and use them often.

Recommended with one lesson learned...
This is my second Wristech BP monitor. A plus is the color scale on the right side that indicates the level for your BP- dangerously high to too low. Also irregular heartbeats are noted. It has a substantial memory, which is helpful for your doctor. The extra large screen is nice visually, but for my small wrist it is difficult to put on effectively leading to error readings. I will purchase another Wristech that fits better when funds allow. I'll gift this one to someone with a larger wrist than mine.Overall I believe this is a good product with accurate readings.

Works okay and is relatively easy to use
Works okay and is relatively easy to use, but inconsistent in the readings it provides. You can take a blood pressure reading (on one individual) and get an initial value, (e.g. 122/85) and a minute later take another one, and it will display 154/105. Two minutes later it might show 105/69. Hard to 'benchmark' what your blood pressure really is when it's all over the map. Even when I donate blood and/or visit the doctor's offices and have my blood pressure affected by 'white coat syndrome' the results NEVER reflect such huge swings - only a couple numbers differece.

Didn't work well for me... Inaccurate.
I purchased this BP wrist cuff as a prospective gift for my mother-in-law.I tested this model before "gifting" it to assess it's function and accuracy. Sadly, I found that the blood pressures were NOT accurate.I have 30+ years experience taking blood pressures as part of my hospital appointed duties. I tested this model on three people at work, using a mercury manometer as a comparative method of measurement. The blood pressures on all three people varied, but most read very high (193/93 range) with this wrist model BP unit. Measurements on the mercury manometer were comparatively lower and in the normal range. The BP's using this wrist model were a bit lower when taken with wrist placed over heart (across chest).Although easy to use, AA battery powered, with large easy to read numbers, I returned this unit and cannot recommend it due to comparative inaccuracies in BP readings.

Small, compact and useful
Easy to use, this device is small and compact. It saves data for Dr.'s appointments, and doesn't need a wall receptacle to operate. Accurate results, with a convenient size for travel or home use. An ideal ("I love it") monitor would also upload to the computer for email (and other recording) purposes, but for this price, one can't expect every "bell and whistle" to be included.
