Great for me
This product works well for me paired with store bought prenatals that do not contain DHA. (just the same as expensive prescription prenatal vitamins). These have more than the recommended daily amount of DHA for pregnancy, and you only need to take one per day. I take them at night and don't notice any stomach upset or fishy smell.

Unverified claims?
I've taken these for a while and came back to Amazon to order my refill. I thought I'd check out the AVASIA website to see what helpful info they may have for an expecting mother. The website they list on the bottle doesn't exist. There is no telephone number listed either, only an address, 9450 SW Gemini Dr, Beaverton, OR 97008. Curious, I google this to see what I could find. It's a company named Net SSI. The bbb results were in the top 4 postings. They have an F rating. Bbb lists other web addresses this company uses, and one of them is [...]!!! I've yet to find a website for this American made product and now I'm terrified to continue taking it. The bottle labeling has excellent claims and I thought I was taking one of the best out there, but none of it can be verified. If someone from Avesta would contact me with explanations, that would be awesome. I've noticed other reviewers have the same concerns.

This is one we bought after doing a lot of ...
This is one we bought after doing a lot of research on (I) ratio of EPA/DHA, and (ii) total amount included. All is good. However, of the 2 bottles we've gone through -- they have all gone bad. Current one smells fishy. Last one exploded.I hope my wife hasn't been taking rotten fish oil for 2 months of her pregnancy because this company cannot package their fish oil correctly.I'm a little angry at myself for getting the second bottle, but this time my wife caught it by smelling the bottle after using it.

A fishy sleep
These vitamins are theoretically working (i have no idea), but you should know that they are a bit large, and you may get fishy reminders of it throughout the day. The price was right, so I just take them at night, where I can't be as terribly affected by fishy belches and acid.

I like it so far
I like it so far, but had very unpleasant experience with shipping. I know my post office is to blame, as far as the product quality, I am satisfied

My blood levels are improving which is any sign it's a great product! Will keep purchasing
They're vitamins! They're there to help you! I have been taking these for almost a month now and can tell you that though I can not see a difference in my day to day life my body can. My blood levels are improving which is any sign it's a great product! Will keep purchasing!

and if fish oil capsules smell really bad that means they've been exposed to high heat
The bottle arrived in the middle of WINTER heat-damaged. It smells extremely rancid, though the gel capsules are still intact, and the product information specifically states it should be odorless. I went and searched online, and if fish oil capsules smell really bad that means they've been exposed to high heat. I can only assume that Amazon's warehouses are to blame, since like I said, it's the middle of winter right now (50 degrees Fahrenheit is the highest it gets), and I was home when it was dropped off at the door. Heat-damage means the effectiveness of the DHA/EPH is decreased.I've started the return process, but I'm very disappointed. Not ordering again since I have no way of knowing if I'll have the same problem.

awful taste and strong smell
Very fishy smell that lingers in the fingers, strong aftertaste. Mine also leaked oil.
