I give very good early marks for this product, which is very suitable for my purposes.The solar panel is very large, so it should do a very good job picking up plenty of solar gain to charge the batteries. The LEDs are also quite large, which translates to a nice floodlight effect. There is a setting for low and medium intensity, which is more than enough for something that will remain lit all night. (Some may think it should be brighter, but you really don't want that in this kind of product, or the battery won't be able to last very long. It should not be confused with something that is very bright and designed to deter trespassers.) The LEDs emit a warm light, which is a nice change from some other products which have a cold light. The detection of dusk and dawn works well.I currently have these on my upper deck, which has no other lights. They are mounted on the house and pointing down, to mimic fixed outdoor lights. I use the low setting by default, which has a nice decorative appearance, but if I was on the deck and wanted more light to entertain, I can just reach up and switch to the higher setting.I have only one minor complaint, which is that the solar panel and light can only be adjusted in a single direction on the same plane, which can, depending on one's circumstances, make it hard to point the LEDs where you want light and also maximize the amount of sunlight you will get on the solar panel. If it had ball-type joints that allowed multiple planes of adjustment, it would be perfect.I have only used the product for a few weeks, so can't yet tell how well it will hold up over time. I will update the review if I have more to say after the product has been outside and weathered a variety of weather conditions for a number of months. So far, though, so good!

We love these LED spotlights!! Have them around our pool and it really accents the waterfall!

Received this product and extremely impressed with their performance. They charged fully on the first day. Lights are surprisingly bright and hold charge well, providing light throughout the night. The adjustable head and solar panel allow for optimal positioning to highlight specific areas.

I just love how these effortlessly light up at night. They highlight parts of our landscape in a dramatic way but not too bright. We got the warm toned lights. I like that I can separately angle the solar panel and the spotlight. This is our third year with these Solar spotlights — we have a few that no longer work, but for the price I don’t mind replacing a few.

I wanted to add a little lighting to my front garden without a lot of wiring hassle. These are perfect. They perform well, turning on at dark after a day of light exposure. They turn on even after a cloudy day. I have not checked how long they remain on but I just wanted them for decoration and not security.The light gently illuminates a clematis about 8 feet high. The other one shines on a crepe myrtle 15 feet away and 15 feet high. Enough light for these but much further and you might want to use a real spotlight.I chose the yellow color. I was a little worried when I saw how yellow the bulb was, but it gives a beautiful light. Not at all yellow yet not harsh our bluish either.They are very easy to install.My only minor complaint is that the on off switch is a repeating button, not a toggle. So you don't know what the setting is until they turn on at night. I think it had to be to keep it waterproof. Not a major issue after the first night since I keep them to the high setting all the time.I have had these about 2 wks and am very happy with them. Not sure how long they will last but they seem quite sturdy.

Worked well initially - now after a few months half the set has completely failed. Alternate brand purchased prior to these are still going strong. Recommend going with an alternate brand since these have a 50% failure rate in a short amount of time. .Update…. just two days later and a third of the 4 has now failed. How do 3 of 4 fail in same week? There have been no weather events. Obviously a design flaw or substandard short life span components used. Update: company contacted me offering replacement or refund. I offered that if the lights had been improved then I would accept a replacement but if still the same quality then a refund. They chose refund. Make of that what you will.Changed rating to 3 stars since they were willing to refund.

I've had my Necteck Solar Lights for almost a year. They are very well made, and the sturdy plastic stake makes it easy to place them in the lawn wherever they are needed. (The lights themselves can be removed from the lawn stakes if desired, and have four holes in the light base if one wants to mount them permanently on a fence post, side of the house, or whatever.) The solar batteries seem very capable: ours catch the full (southern USA) morning sun and then fall into the shade of the house around 2:00 or so. Even though they aren't exposed to the sun the entire day, they last all night long and are still going strong at full power when the sun comes up the next morning and shuts them off. The angle of the solar panels and lights can be easily adjusted by a knurled knob. I've set the tension on mine so they stay in place, but can be readjusted as necessary without having to mess with the knob (this is important to me, since I take them up each time I mow the lawn, and reset them after I'm done). I use the two I bought to illuminate an aluminum street number plaque mounted on the bricks by the front door of the house: they make it really stand out so visitors or emergency responders can readily see it at night. In addition, the lights also provide an extra level of security, since anyone approaching the door will be illuminated. They would certainly be useful for other applications as well (e.g., illuminating bushes in a flower bed or at the corners of one's house, without having to go to the trouble to install permanent 115v outdoor lighting). So far I have been totally satisfied with the Nekteck lights, and recommend them to anyone looking for affordable outdoor solar lighting.

Ilumina bastante bien un área pequeña. Yo los uso para una maceta grande y se ve muy bien de noche. Solo tengan cuidado de verificar que tipo de luz (blanca o cálida) genera para que decidan de manera informada.¡Un imperdible para el jardín!
