Bad Santa (Unrated Director's Cut) [Blu-ray]

I couldn’t find it on any of my streaming apps, and i had digital credits available. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a good laugh!

This is funny in a bad way

Billy Bob Thornton, super funny, but really irreverent and rude. If you're easily offended, not for you. If you have a pretty open funny bone, you'll laugh. Of course, that's my subjective opinion. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. All of my reviews reflect my honest, personal experience with the reviewed item - your experience may be different. I am not influenced by any outside source. I love this movie I remember watching it when I was younger and it randomly popped back in my head it was just as funny as the first time I watched it. Love this movie

A simple vista parece una película mala etc etc como muchos conocidos me dicen, pero tiene un humor negro y "basto" que me encanta. A mi ver muy recomendable.

Llevo como mínimo 5 años tratando de comprarla y hasta hace poco se me prendió el foco de buscarla por medio de ustedes. Que sea en Blu-ray se lleva un puntazo

No trae castellano, es Español Latino. Vaya decepción.Ya que en esta película el doblaje en castellano es fundamental.No costaria demasiado poner Español Latino, para que no hayan confusiones.

Having read several of Gwen Hunter's medical thrillers, I wasn't sure what I would make of this one. I must admit that I wasn't disappointed with the change of genre. The characters are really likeable and come to life through Hunter's writing. The idea of psychic gifts coupled with kidnappings actually works really well. I will definately be reading more of the non-medical novels in future.

Beim Anbllick des Covers und Titels von Bad Santa, dem 2003 erschienenen Film von Terry Zwigoff (Drehbuch) und Glenn Ficara sowie John Requa (Drehbuch), könnte man meinen, man bekomme es mit einer albernen Slapstick-Komödie zu tun. Überraschenderweise ist dem aber gar nicht so.Kurz zur Handlung: Willie T. Stokes (Billy Bob Thornton) ist in so ziemlich jeglicher Hinsicht ein Versager. Jedes Jahr zur Weihnachtszeit arbeitet er als Weihnachtsmann zur Kinderbespaßung in einem anderen Kaufhaus irgendwo in den USA. Dass er den Ort ständig wechselt, liegt erstens daran, dass Willie permanent besoffen ist, herumpöbelt und sich auch sonst nicht gerade anständig benimmt. Zweitens haben Willie und sein kleinwüchsiger Partner Marcus (Tony Cox), der einen Weihnachtselfen mimt, ein System entwickelt, nach Schließung der Einkaufszentren deren Tresorräume zu plündern. Doch selbst Marcus geht Willies Verhalten zu weit. Und dann quartiert sich der "Weihnachtsmann" auch noch im Haus eines Jungen (Brett Kelly) ein, dessen Vater im Knast sitzt und dessen Mutter abgehauen ist...Slapstick ist Bad Santa nicht, wohl aber eine Komödie - und zwar eine rabenschwarze. Willie ist so richtig schön abstoßend und hervorragend gespielt von Billy Bob Thornton, mit der Zeit entdeckt man aber tatsächlich die eine oder andere (zumindest kleine) liebenswerte Seite der Hauptfigur. Man braucht allerdings schon etwas stärkere Nerven bei diesem Film, eine Wohlfühl-Komödie für die ganze Familie sieht definitiv anders aus. Und zu Weihnachten sollte man Bad Santa vielleicht auch nicht gucken, es sei denn, man hasst Weihnachten genau so wie Willie. Ich kann den Film jedenfalls empfehlen. Wie gesagt: Vom Cover sollte man sich nicht abschrecken lassen. Über den ganze 13 Jahre später erschienenen zweiten Teil hingegen deckt man besser den Mantel des Schweigens.
